We use a Doterra Pharmaceutical Essential Oil protocol to boost immunity and prevent kennel cough:

Diffuse OnGuard – the protective blend, which is helpful at boosting immunity so their bodies can fight of any sort of infection – bacterial or viral or even fungal

If your dog starts coughing, diffuse Easy Air and OnGuard together.

You may also want to start giving OnGuard internally.

For dogs under 20kgs – 1 drop of OnGuard twice a day in a capsule or mixed with wet food.

For dogs over 20kgs, use the OnGuard Plus Softgels – they are a combination of OnGuard (protective blend), Melissa, Black Pepper, and Oregano and is a powerful heavy hitter.

Giving these oils internally you will also want to be sure they are on a probiotic. It is not recommended that you give these oils internally for more than 14 days at a time.

Urgent 🚨

🐶Important Notice for Dog Owners in Boonah & Kalbar

We want to inform our community about an increase in cases of dog cough affecting dogs in the Boonah area, particularly those who have been walked at the Duggie Flats loop. To prioritize the health and well-being of all dogs, we’ve made the difficult decision to close a week early for our Christmas break. Additionally, we’ve decided not to participate in this year’s Boonah Christmas Parade. While we know the parade is a highlight for many, keeping our dogs safe is our top priority.

🐶Symptoms to Watch For:
- Hacking cough (sounds like they’re trying to clear their throat)
- Fatigue
- High temperatures (Check your dog’s ear temperature by placing your finger at the entrance of their ear canal. Knowing their normal temperature helps you notice any changes.)

Symptoms typically last 2–3 days, with coughing most common in the mornings and evenings. Older dogs, puppies, and unvaccinated dogs are at higher risk.

🐶What You Can Do:
- Monitor your dog closely for symptoms.
- Isolate any dogs showing signs of illness to prevent the spread.
- Keep your dog’s vaccinations up to date, especially for kennel cough (Bordetella).
- If you’re concerned about your dog’s health, consult your veterinarian promptly.

We understand how disappointing not only for us and our dog owners but also our dog living community that love seeing the dogs in the Christmas parade, but the health of our dogs comes first we will still attend with our dog bus in is best Christmas attire. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work together to keep our furry friends safe and well.

Hi I'm Captain, I'm a beautiful brindle bull Arab X, who adores everyone I have been around kids, cats & dogs of all sizes and have loved everyone equally.

I'm crate trained, toilet trained, and am already learning some obedience so far I know how to sit and wait for food. I adore playing fetch and giving kisses to all my dog and cat friends.

I'm still quite young but so far have shown that I love to run and play and enjoy cuddles with my foster family just as much. Currently I love to be held and sit on your lap but as I grow I might struggle to still call myself a lap dog.

Confident, bouncy puppy that would love a family to take on adventures and continue his training.
