The gorgeous Maple 🍁

Maple is from our latest Reyna X Perry litter and what a sweet girl she is.

Some facts about Maple 💟
She has a shorter coat than the others in her litter - which was evident from around the 7 week mark.
She is also 1 of 2 pups with gorgeous icy blue eyes.
She has excellent behaviour and is so very loved and she is a daddy's girl!

Thanks for the update Paris 🩵 we love hearing how our babies are developing and miss Maple is a stunner!

He even went to learn about sheep recently,

I hear that he was a little confused why the other dogs were exerting so much energy though- didn't they know they could just chill out and not take it so seriously???

Look at the amazing travelling Manu on his adventures!
Manu was the only boy from our Reyna X Parker litter.
Recently he has been through Spain, Portugal and hiking through France with his awesome owners ofcourse, even though I'm sure he would easily hitch a ride!
He's being a super good boy ofcourse and he's been well prepared for his travelling, it's just the norm for him- what a lucky boy!!

It's school holidays here in Qld and look at the gorgeous Layla (from our Reyna X Parker litter) and Jesse (from our Reyna X Perry litter) having the time of their lives on their roadtrip! Oh my goodness aren't they adorable !

Hey everyone,
We have been a bit quiet on the page as we settle in to our new home and life in Woodford.
It's been a big change after living in the scenic rim for 12 years.
I'll continue to update the page on how all our gorgeous Reyna puppies are going in their new homes but for now here's Abby our blue tri merle growing up and enjoying our new home 🏡 💜

Kepp your puppy safe from objects that may harm them or they may destroy ⭐️
A safe space for your pup especially when unattended will set your puppy up for success - not a constant battle of getting into mischief and getting into trouble.

Sardines 🐟

Sardines are something we should be adding to our pets meals regularly.
I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Sardines are packed full of protein, omega-3 and calcium.

Sardines contain the Omega-3 that our dogs utilise the best - DHA and EPA.
DHA is essential for brain development and function.

Omega-3 is often lacking in many pups diets. Omega-3 is super sensitive to heat, getting destroyed in the rendering process of kibble.
Kibble is always lacking Omega-3, with a ridiculous amount of Omega-6.

Omega-3 is anti-inflammatory.
Sardines are one of the best sources of Omega-3.
We should be feeding a source of Omega-3 daily to keep our pets omega-6 to omega-3 ratio in check.

You don’t often think of sardines when you think of calcium, but sardines have tiny pin bones making them a great calcium source.

Sardines are a great source of protein.
A tin of deep cove sardines (84g) contains 21g of protein.

Sardines are also another source of
Vitamin D. Important for strong and healthy bones.

Sardines are high in selenium.
Selenium is important for thyroid health, making DNA and protect against cell damage and infections.

There is also a proven correlation between increased Omega-3 and a lower incidence of chronic inflammatory diseases.

Omega-3 is anti inflammatory
Omega-6 increases inflammation

Do dogs need omega-6 ? yes
But most dogs are consuming more than enough Omega-6, but not enough Omega-3.

Chicken, duck & pork are high in Omega-6.

All dogs will benefit from adding sardines.
However, if your dog has a skin condition, cancer, heart disease, arthritis you definitely should be feeding sardines.

Fresh raw sardines are amazing.
Fresh is best.
If your dog won’t eat them fresh, freeze dried is the next best thing.
I feed

Tinned sardines in spring water are also ok. NOT in oil.

I have nothing against dehydrated / dried products, but when it comes to omega-3 ideally we don’t want any heat on it.

Don’t forget about the fatty fish.
Omega-3 is crucial to your pets health.
So important for all stages of life.

A fellow BC lover and breeder wrote this and it's too good not to share with you all 🌟🩷

So I’d like to welcome you all to my glamorous life style.. A day in the life of
Border Collie life… if you even considered owning a border collie you need to know these things.

1.) they own you ( heart and soul) not the other way round
2.) they will want to be apart of everything you do EVERYTHING!!
3.) they leave paw prints on your heart, floors, Bed, lounge, car, let’s face it paw prints are now your new interior design concept… it’s just easier that way 😂
4.) smart! Very smart often smarter than their owners.. I get shown this on the daily
5.) food orintated.. whilst this is unbelievably helpful if treat training … not so helpful when you just want to make a sandwich to eat alone… you will never eat alone again!!
6.) they are fast!!… no 5 second rule if you drop something as you now have a 2 second dog or faster!!
7.) play.. you must be ready to play all hours!! Even if they play alone.. you will be forced to listen to that damn squeaky turkey you bought them as you thought it was cute… no turkey is cute at 2 am.. I will fight you on this!! 😂
8.) when they get wet and smell like WET Dog ( such a charming smell) well guess what !! You now smell like wet dog from trying to dry them off!!
9.) get use to being ignored.. not from your dog but from every single person who meets your dog as they will steal the limelight and people will go away remembering your dogs name but never even asked yours 😂😂 must admidt I am also guilty of this.
10.) top tip for mums and dads, once you have the border collie you no longer have the debate in the household who the favourite child is as even the kids know it’s the dog!!
11.) can lead to relationship breakdowns as let’s face it no partner is going to get the same attention as you are now required by border collie law ( yes they invented it) to give your dog.
12.) MUD.. they love it and they will share all of it with you… yep all of it!! ( you now smell like wet, muddy dog after all you are part of their pack now.)
13.) fuel costs.. they love the car you will be required to take out shares in a fuel company if you ever wanna live up to their idea of enough drives in a day!! ( unless you have endless money and can drive 24 hrs a day without sleep you will never meet this goal, I suggest driver sharing)
14.) No such thing as a quick stop at a pet store or vet clinic anymore.. again they will steal the show and you will make so many people happy by letting them meet your dog, if these trips alone take you 15 mins now allow 1-15 hrs to get the same task done as they draw lots of attention!
15.)your bank is empty from buying quality food and treats and constant car drives, as are your energy levels, you are a personal chef and treat giver, you wake on command to let them out for toilet ( as they will tell you everytime they need to go) your friends consist of other dog owners cause you all have no time left for other people, you sleep uncomfortably just so your border collie sleeps like a king or queen, so in essence everything is depleted, energy, bank,social life, but your HEART ❤️ will forever be full.

Our gorgeous Richie was the last little darling to go to his new home so he soaked up all the extra mumma cuddles while he waited 💛
