***Blueridge Black Elegance***
We finally got sexy ‘Lexie’ our homebred ASH Hertiage bred filly out to her first show today. It’s been a really long road and a massive achievement. After a setback with an accident when she was a yearling, at times I was doubtful we would ever get to this point. Now 2 yrs old, fully recovered and feeling good about herself, I was really proud of her today. While she certainly has sass in bucket loads, she is growing into a lovely and smart little mare that has a strong future.
This was only her second time off our property and she was really good to float and prepare. The atmosphere was a lot for her curious brain today, but we managed to do a good workout for third. Lots of improvements, but it’s just the beginning 🥰
