Yeah the boys 🙌🏼 My Brumby herd have been spelled over Summer - now it’s time to start brining them all back in to work. I’m planning to start with some pole work on the ground to start re building their fitness. Then we will be re introducing to long reins, saddles and then riding. Hopefully they haven’t re wilded too much and it’s a cruiser transition back to work for them 🐴 that might be some wishful thinking on my behalf 😂 I’m going to bring Storm along in the same program and see how well his shoulder has healed 🤞🏼

Announcement! TBP is headed south.

Due to the large number of interstate enquiries I have had this year, I thought that I would open up the idea of hosting TBP camp/s in the southern states (NSW, VIC, SA) in 2024.

If you have a property with facilities to hold a brumby camp and think that there is enough interest in your area then I would love to meet up. We will be travelling inland and along the coast in early January - get in touch to find our more. Only one sleep to go until Brumby camp kicks off!

We like to give our particiapants a well-rounded experience at brumby camp, with demonstrations, presentations and plenty of engagement. We are lucky to have two amazing guest presenters this camp - Samantha King and Dr David Berman.

Join us on Saturday the 16th of September and Tuesday 19th of September to learn more about brumby ecology, trapping, training and transitioning into domesticity. Presentations in the evening, approx 6.30 pm.

For those of you looking to enter the Springsure Brumby Challenge who have not yet found a brumby, we are taking EOI's now for our next trapping. There will be a group of brumbies arriving at TBP HQ at the end of July/early August. If you are looking for a brumby around the Sunshine Coast area then please get in touch so we can match you up.

The special thing about us is that we are devoted to the rehoming of wild caught brumbies in to animal assisted therapy homes.

We work closely with The Brumby Project to carefully select and train brumbies for careers in this field, which is a life conducive to the temperament and intelligence of these amazing horses.

We advocate for the inclusion of brumbies in to the animal assisted therapy space.

Due to personal experience of working with unhandled brumbies and seeing the amazing work they have done with our own psychology clients, we are extremely passionate about sharing what we have learned about starting these brumbies with the intention of producing a happy and confident horse that genuinely enjoys the company of humans.
