Peninsula Veterinary Surgery Caring, compassionate vet care for the pets on the Peninsula and surrounds since 1994 Our dedicated team consists of five vets and six nurses.

The surgery first opened in January 1994 as has been looking after pets on the peninsula ever since. We believe in offering the best care and service to our clients and their pets.

Cyclone Alfred:

Our team is working hard to stay updated on Tropical Cyclone Alfred.

We will be open this week to see your pets as long as it remains safe for our team and yourselves to travel to us.

We will post any changes to our opening hours on Facebook.

If you are concerned or unable to get to the clinic safely please contact our team on 3284 5133.

We recommend calling us to order any medications your pet/s may need ASAP to avoid being caught short during this uncertain time.

When “Senor Taco” came in for his desexing surgery today, of course we had to keep with the mexican theme and make him a puppy burrito!

It goes without saying that this 2kg pocket rocket spent most his time cuddled in our nurses arms or pockets today!

Warning Parvovirus!

We can confirm that Kroll Gardens is closed and being treated by council after dogs that have tested positive to parvovirus have confirmed they have been there.

Signs to watch for:

Vomiting: Severe vomiting that can be life-threatening

Diarrhea: Profuse, bloody
diarrhea

Lethargy: Feeling sleepy, fatigued, or sluggish

Loss of appetite: Decreased appetite

Parvovirus is a preventable disease.
Please make sure your dog’s vaccination is up to date.
