If bigger is better in your books, then Polar could be just the dog you’re looking for.

As a mastiff cross, Polar definitely lands in the big dog category, but he’s also a cruisey old man. He likes a daily walk to see what’s what and then to follow you around the house, making sure you’re never lonely while doing chores.

He also knows that when you come home, you deserve a big welcome, so he’ll have his tail wagging and his whole body wiggling in excitement to see you.

This boy’s loving nature is all the more extraordinary for the time he spent tied to a post before thankfully being surrendered.

He does require a muzzle to be worn whenever he’s off your property, as well as to be the only pet in the home. However, we know the right person won’t bat an eyelid at these needs — Polar is after all a very special dog you just can’t help but fall in love with.

This beautiful young Rotti is about to be the centre of someone's universe..and rightly so! Had the pleasure of working with him recently...and if only I had more space...

He is a super fun, highly intelligent, playful and engaging young dog and considering how people have consistently failed him so far (other than Forever Friends Animal Rescue) it's testament to his friendly nature how truly lovely this young boy is.

Only the very best for him now - D requires someone keen on training as he showed bucketloads of potential in one short session and has oodles to learn :)

🚨 URGENT — DUKE IS STILL MISSING — LAST SEEN 24 HOURS AGO CORNER OF PARKINSONS AND PIONEER RD, HODDLES CREEK🚨

While we were hopeful Duke would be found by now, he js still missing. He was last seen yesterday morning (Thursday) at the corner of Parkinsons and Pioneer Rd in the Hoddles Creek and Gladysdale area. He also had a limp which suggests he requires medical treatment, so the sooner we can get him home the better.

Please be watchful for him around this area. If you do spot him, please don’t approach him. He is very shy. Instead call Abbey on 0426 271 211.

We are also looking for volunteers to letter drop flyers about Duke to keep locals aware. If you can help, please message us.

No way around it, just a horror week for animals in Victoria this week.
The truck carrying cows that crashed in South Yarra, practically outside my building has had quite an impact on me. A horror incident. So much senseless suffering.


words are not enough to describe the gratitude toward you and the work you do.
Thinking of all involved and just sitting with the heaviness of it for now.
An 8pm memorial is planned this evening at the site, I will be there. Nothing can change what happened, but we can make powerful choices every single day 🧡
