Poppet the disabled bun is looking for a special home 💖

Found as a stray and brought into our shelter by a member of the public, Poppet's head tilt was likely caused by an infection called Encephalitozoon Cuniculi (EC).

EC is a common, yet potentially deadly, parasite that infects rabbits and affects the central nervous system. Poppet's head tilt is most likely permanent, but he copes amazingly well and has a good quality of life.

He can do almost everything other rabbits can, including exploring, playing, eating and using the litter box.

Popps has a unique personality which has charmed us all; he is a curious and lively bun whose favourite game is foraging in a snuffle mat for treats!

Just doing an update as I haven't done any for a while, five rabbits vaccinated and seven ferrets desexed. buggered up on one as she was already desexed
On Friday V***n had to have emergency spinal surgery., She's home recovering, still can't walk but has got some strength in her legs. It's going to take a long time.

Here is the end result of what I've done today. I've totally revamped the sunroom got rid of cages put the animals that are up for adoption outside apart from six of the the mummas. Sanctuary Guinea pigs stay in the sunroom and all the cages are set up for the rabbits to be transferred into tomorrow. Thank you once again to everyone who is donating and has donated if it wasn't for you guys this wouldn't be possible. I thank you heaps ❤️
