DEC has taken a break over the Winter months due to the construction work going on at Mt Rowan Equestrian Centre Ballarat.
We are now back.

Sunday 22nd September we will be holding a Club Day /Come Try day at Rokewood from 10am to 3pm.
Cost will be $15.00 for Members and $30.00 for Non Members.
A Sausage sizzle will be run for lunch (no cost) but you will need to bring your own drinks.
We would appreciate it if you could book in by paying the fee into the DEC Account.

REFERENCE: Your Name/ Club Day.
This will be the last Club Day at Rokewood as Shane has sold the property as he is moving to Hamilton where he has bought a property there.
Shane is looking into other places in the Rokewood area where Club Days can still be run for DEC; he will travel from Hamilton for these Club Days.

DEC Jackpot Race Events.
These will still be held at Mt Rowan Equestrian Centre Ballarat. Shane has been in continual contact with Mt Rowan due to the construction works.
Mt Rowan has advised us we should be able to run a Jackpot in November 2024, and further Jackpots in January and March 2025 plus we hope to get another one in as well. Dates will be available once we have them confirmed by Mt Rowan.
DEC is committed to continuing being involved in Extreme Cowboy Racing. We thank all our loyal supporters for their continued support.

Well that's another EXCA Australian Nationals done and dusted!

Over 60 Runs each day, a big Thank You to all the competitors who kept to the strict time limits on all the walk through's and were ready to go when they were called for their runs.

We had competitors and visitors from all over Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and the Northern Territory.

A Special Shout out to our Announcer for the weekend Barry Tomlin, our Photographer Suzanne Halden, and Cindy Murray for assisting with the administration of the event. Thank You.

And finally, as announced at the presentation on Sunday afternoon Downunder Extreme Cowboys will be taking a year off in 2025 from hosting the Nationals, and the 2025 EXCA Australian Nationals will be in Queensland and hosted by Southern Cross Extreme Cowboy Racing.
