It has been an honour getting to know this sweet fur family. Doug, Jess, Poppy and Spit are off to start a new chapter.
I have grown so close with them over the year since we first met. Even Poppy warmed up to me at the end (somewhat reluctantly on her half 🙈)
Doug who lives for the drama and regularly tricks Jess into thinking there is someone outside (which she fell for every time)
Spit who despite being a cat, believes she is in fact a dog. One of the kindest kitties, she was a great help during stormy weather when Dougie got anxious.
Poppy, who originally I figured didn’t actually exist because she was so sneaky, eventually came out of hiding and deemed me “okay”.
And Jess, who just wanted peace and quiet, and to hoard all the tennis balls she could.
I wish them and their family good luck at their new home ❤️
Welcome back to the oldies, Jess and Doug.
It’s beyond words how happy I am that Dougie has become more comfortable, photogenic and cuddly around me.
With Jess once again posing the question of “Why have one tennis ball when you can have two?”
And an introduction of these two beautiful ladies, Poppy and Spit.
It has taken some time but I’ve finally gotten photographic evidence of their existence. Both very shy, they much prefer the company of each other.
But this last time I’ve been blessed with their company and was even allowed pets 🥰
