SBS cats year in review:-
What a incredible year it’s been for SBS Cats. It’s seems to have gone all so fast. Looking back at some of our most memorable moments in 2024 were:-
🏆Winning best entire kitten Sydney Royale for the 2nd year in a row
🏆Winning Hawksbury show for the 3rd year in a row
🏆British longhair we bred taking out Best in Breed at the Nationals.🏆Winning Best in breed British Shorthair 2024 for also the 3rd year running
🏆Best in breed British Longhair 2024 for the 2nd year in a row
🏆 I almost forgot SBS Sarah Shannon taking out Best entire kitten at Melbourne The Pet show and winning best in breed entire adult in Queensland The Pet Show this made it a clean sweep of the east coast of Australia after winning in Sydney.
These were only just some of our achievements, believe it or not our main focus this year wasn’t the shows😱In the background we have been focusing quietly on breeding and retaining future show queens and studs. Sourcing new studs and genetics 🧬 The SBS Team are very proud to have our first matings of both SBS Queens and SBS studs on both sides of the pedigree with SBS Chappy/SBS Jolene and SBS Doctor/SBS Tiger Lily. The kittens of which were amazing so much so one was even exported to Singapore 🇸🇬
There was also a major upgrade of our facilities investing in infrastructure with a major focus on Bio Security to ensure the well being of our cats and kittens. This is ongoing project we are committed to.
What’s in stall for 2025?
SBS Cats will be expanding into South East Asia with a focus on Singapore 🇸🇬 This also means the launch of our new and sister website www.sbscats.sg and social media platforms early 2025. Our main focus will still be here in Australia with only a small amount of desexed kittens being sent directly to Singaporean families only.
2025 will also bring a slightly updated SBS Logo and further updates to our Australian website 😊

Owner update from SBS Lady Maeve and SBS Princess Violet’s family.
“Hi Marcellus, just an update on our beautiful new kitten - Violet. After adopting our first kitten in August (Maeve) - we couldn’t resist getting another one of your amazing lilac kittens. Maeve and Violet have been best friends since only a few days from adopting her. It’s absolutely priceless watching these two look out and after each other and their antics/rumbles (even though Maeve is definitely the boss)! Full credit to you and your team for breeding such beautiful kittens that effortlessly fit into the home environment. And thank you for your support and advice when needed. We couldn’t be happier!”

Early start this morning Getting SBS Majulah Singapura to the airport for his big flight ✈️✈️✈️to Singapore. Really going to miss this little guy he was such a joy to raise. Very special kitten as I not only bred his mother SBS Tiger Lily but his father SBS Dr as well. We wish him safe travels and hope his new family love ❤️ him😊
