This is an extremely rare opportunity to purchase a true child’s/ family pony that is young enough and educated enough to take a child from beginner through to competent competitive child rider.

Holly’s mother was ridden and owned by Holly’s current owner for many many years. Holly is the sibling to a very successful eventer. She was lightly broken in at age 2 and has been correctly bought on since then.

For the last 10 months, Holly has been ridden and competed by a ten year old, who is coached by the owner. This child had only been riding for 2 months when she first hopped on Holly. They have been a force to be reckoned with, competing and placing up to state level!

This week, Holly was ridden by a tiny 6 year old - for the very first time - and they had an absolute ball together - jumping, doing working equitation obstacles and everything in between, in a very large arena. Holly proved, once again, that she is an ‘old soul’ in a young body - being patient, kind and an excellent confidence builder.

Holly has competed at EA competitions, Ag Shows, pony club, attended clinics, been to the beach, and ridden ba****ck. Holly is sensible and used to the day to day nonsense of farm life, tractors, trucks, dogs and kids. Holly has a soft mouth, is responsive without being reactive and is willing without being forward.

Holly is good to catch, float, truck and is well behaved for the farrier. She will tie up all day and is handled independently by children. Holly doesn’t have any vices or medical issues. She is sound and ready to go

Welcome to the family Magic Mike out of warmblood mare Chloe by Zanny. He is a very nice type. Many thanks Ian Leighton for doing some training with him and Anita Sward for looking after him for. Few weeks while he learns a few things.
Thank you Michelle Shephard for trusting me with more of her horses.
I am still quite restricted recovering from my back surgery. I was hoping to have a first ride today but feeling a bit sore so just taking things easy. Very lucky to have so much support from friends and family! too many horses!

Second back Surgery today went well. Pain free again and all going well. Let’s hope all is sorted now. On IV antibiotics, anti-inflammatories. A drained, washed out L4/5 with steroids to settle the joint down. Fingers crossed this is the answer. I feel cautiously relieved.
My loving husband Stephen and Josh put out round bales and hard fed Andelain Zantorian and Clyde. I am lucky and we still have a green paddock over the far side do the have a pick of grass.
So lucky to have Stephen to care for our horses and that they are all in good condition.
Again big thanks to everyone’s support. Can’t wait to ride again!

We are closing the breeding Season for Andelain Zantorian in a couple of weeks as we service and confirm the last of the mares in foal.

Had a great show at Tasmania’s all welsh. My first welsh show and I really appreciated the support from Michelle and Jessica’s shephard, Kim Hughes, Rebecca and Phil Davis and everyone at this friendly show. Many thanks to Adam Webster for preparing and showing Kyalami Samson ( part bred by Zantorian out of Pondaidh Mystery) and for running out Zantorian. There is no way I can run these welsh cobs with my arthritis. I was so proud of both these boys especially Zantorian who had very little preparation due to an accident 7 weeks ago that saw us both out of action for 6 weeks. Then a paddock accident Tuesday before the show was another spanner in the works. We overcame all that and made it to the show looking fabulous. Many thanks to Mark Buckerfield, Hobart Equine Practice for the super care this week and Big thanks to Finella, Vet in the Valley for the expert stitching that saw Zantorian able to show with minimal scaring.

She is a real character exploring her new paddock at high speed keeping mum on her toes.

We are excited that Elderslie Horse Care and Spelling -Sue Streit inseminated Mirabel Audaceious (Audry), A Welsh Cob mare with freshly collected s***m from Andelain Zantorian. Audrey belongs to Anita Sward Kyalami Equestrian. We chose AI for Audrey as she is rather delicately built compared to Zanny. Audrey is a much loved school pony at Kyalami Equestrian so there is going to be a lot of interest in this foal.

Kyalami Sampson by Anderlain Zantorian is now 8 month old. Wonderful temperament only need to show him something once and he is, ok got it. Really excited about this baby.
