NMD trimmer, Natasha, conducted a barefoot farrier apprenticeship between 2016 and 2018 under the guidance of Christopher Beggs of Kelvin Grove Equine.
Natasha has a Bachelor of Science majoring in Biochemistry, and a Bachelor of Education. This foundation, along with 7 years of Maths and Science teaching in high-schools, gives her a strong scientific way of thinking and a love of continual learning.
Various professional developments include Daisy Bickings workshop in Melbourne in 2017, looking at hoof mapping, hoof distortion and analysing many x-ray's to determine outcomes.

Natasha is passionate about horses and began working 24 years ago as a stable hand and trail assistant for 6 years in a busy trail riding centre in Noosa, Sunshine Coast, where she cared for around 30 plus horses on weekends.
She also worked as a part time vet nurse and receptionist for Bli Bli Veterinary Surgery from 2013 until 2010.
She spent several years under the guidance of some wonderful horse trainers, who she will always hold fond memories of and be extremely grateful to, where she gained a strong foundation in horsemanship.
Natasha developed a love of dressage around 15 years ago and so aims to continually develop in these areas with her own horses.
Natasha has an affinity for every horse in her care, and a passion for their feet. She understands that strong, balanced, functional hooves are vital to a horses well-being, soundness, and ability to undertake the tasks we ask of them.
Natasha endeavours to help every horse under her care as a trimmer to grow strong, balanced, functional hooves.
