3. Run around frantic like you have lost your ball.
4. Get ball from hole.
5. Run around with ball.

Wow I can't believe it's been 4 years since our first Dawnsio puppies were born (Disco x Whinnie). Our 'Speed' Litter have certainly lived up to their name, excelling and having their best life doing agility, retrieving/ gundog work, scenting, tricks and all round therapy hug dogs with their amazing owners.
To celebrate, I went into the vaults and found this video of them at about 7 weeks of age. 😍 Enjoy 🥰

I always advise my puppy owners less is more when teaching 🥰

Always leave them wanting more is one of my biggest training tips. I never over train my animals, infact the opposite could be said!

Especially when training new behaviors.

Here is my puppy Vogue, refusing to leave the training field after a very short, high value, training session.

Because even short bouts of repetitive training can make their body sore and fatigue quickly, always look for signs of fatigue and stop.

Fatigue can show in many forms, from losing speed, missing the que, offering up a different 'trick', to wandering off.

A good warm up and cool down is also essential.

As is a good therapist who understands these strains on our animals 👍

✨️SUPER PROUD BREEDER BOAST POST!✨️
Last week I travelled to Sydney to attend the Australian Agility Nationals and support dogs that we have bred. We had a total of 6 dogs entered, all young and inexperienced in their levels.

💥Wow they all blew me away 💥
They all coped with the super charged big environment. Their skills and speed on massive technical corses were admired. A testiment to their breeding and owners 🥰🥰
And... ALL SIX made it to at least one final! Woohoo! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

We are super proud of these talented dogs and their amazing handlers 😍

All these pups were from our very special foundation bitch Disco, to different sires. She has made sure she has left us an amazing legacy. ❤️🐾🤎

Vogue says good morning to her brothers and sisters, the last of which left a week ago to their new homes and families 💓

We have kept Vogue as a future snuggler and agility dog, with the possibly to breed from to keep this amazing line of working cockers going 🙏

We all love the fun and energy our working cocker puppies have. But we also think it is very important to learn calm. From an early age we condition our puppies to learn calm. Jumping up at the gate does not open it, jumping up for food does not give it, jumping up for pats does not get it.
These guys get rewarded for sitting and waiting - sometimes even if it's a nano second 😁

Locomotion is super sweet and fun. Eager to please and easy to train. Check out his little video of being trained on a platform. Criteria was to choose to be on it, look at me and stillness. He nailed it. We did 2 min before video on stopped straight after.
He is ready to find a home to continue his training ❤️🤎❤️🤎❤️🤎
