Help us create a BETTER future for kids with cancer.
Did you know that 90 children are diagnosed with cancer each month in Australia?
As many as 90% of kids who survive will develop one or more chronic health conditions. We’ve got to find a better way to help them... That’s why we are taking action.
This September, the team at Shell Cove Vets have been logging 90km of movement each to help raise money for cancer treatments that are kinder, gentler and more effective.
Please support us by making a tax-deductible donation to The Kids’ Cancer Project.

Easter is a time where we celebrate hope, love and family and we would like to extend the happiest of Easters to our Shell Cove clients and community.
We love our Shell Cove family and we are thankful for our beautiful little slice of paradise down by the Marina. We are also thankful for meeting so many new clients this year already and for being able to offer vet care to so many adorable patients, like the darling Flora here (we think her nose is shaped like a ❤️).

The fluffiest of fluffy’s came to see Dr Hannah the other day for his 12 week vaccinations.
Little Arlo was an absolute delight but his breed was quite the mystery. Can anyone guess what this lil fella may be?

Luna is a 12 week old Bernese Mountain Dog who visited us for her vaccinations & an impromptu photoshoot 🙊
Don’t let the floof fool you, Bernese Mountain Dogs are a large breed and easily reach 50kg as adults!!!
Luckily Luna has a bit of growing to do, so for now she can sit on our table and get all the kisses and cuddles from our vets!!!

Meet Arlo & Willow… they are littermates, besties, two peas in a pod, two halves of a whole, a Thelma to a Louise and the perfect alibi for any puppy related crime!!

Today is International Women’s Day and we want to honour our beautiful patient Chloe.
This tiny bundle of cute has been through more in 3 months than most pets do in their lifetime.
She is one tough, brave and loveable puppy, who is one hell of a fighter and we love her so!!
So in honour of today we wanted to celebrate how far she has come and look forward to the next chapters of her life… one tiny tail wag at a time!!!

We love it when our adorable patients stop by to say hello as part of their morning walk at the Cove!!
We are always here to greet them & give them a cuddle or a treat or two!! We want the clinic to be as warm and inviting for them as it would be at home. We also like to make that “moment” when you hand your pet over to us, as less stressful as possible for our furry friends parents.
The is such a beautiful place and we love seeing so many familiar faces out and about doing their errands, grabbing a coffee or visiting the local shops. Let’s continue to keep the pawsitive atmosphere alive!!

The face of courage, understanding, patience and trust.
The face of Mia.
Mia, like many of our canine friends, has battled through stubborn ear infections over the summer. That darn humidity!!!
And, as much as she would rather be swimming, she came into the Cove everyday for a week and put on such a brave face while the vets addressed her ear issues.
A week later she is out enjoying the last few weeks of summer. What a trooper !!!

This Valentine’s Day, find some-dog who looks at you the way our nurse Amanda looks at John the puppy.
They are just so doggone cute!!
John belongs to one of our first litters born at the Cove and it was so lovely to see them back for their first puppy vaccinations before they find their new furever homes.
…Now that’s a love story that never ends 🥰❤️😍🐾

This is ground control to Major Tom wanting to introduce our newest recruit to the Cove 🌈 B O W I E 🌈
He is definitely not under pressure at the clinic and he thinks we could be heroes, just for one day.
We told him this is not America, and we are not absolute beginners. He said he will go through some changes over the next five years.
We think this may be the start of a modern love, he is such a rebel and you know what he said…. “LET’S DANCE” 💕🌈🕺
