Best thing to come out of a bunny burrow in a long time!

Any day now this little miss should bring forth some babies. She has taken up residence in a rabbit burrow, as you do! At least it’s warm and cosy, and well lined with feathers. The issue is I have no idea how many eggs she has down there, we will just have to wait and see!!

New enclosure for the eldest of the Brown Chinese. All growing nicely and loving the fresh grass! A little over 100 bubbas now.

Has anyone else noticed that muscovies appear to be part cat when it comes to selecting random nesting places? Some of the girls trying out what was the ash tub at the back door…apparently 2 was a little squishy😳🙄

Today’s little ones. It’s proving to be a positive season so far. We will soon have some adult pairs of brown Chinese geese available. Feel free to message expressions of interest.

The first goslings of 2022 have arrived. There really isn’t much cuter than these little guys! None were out at 6pm when I left, just a small pip in one egg…all out and about by 11pm. Some strong bubbas there!

Breeding season is well under way with over 200 eggs set and fertile, hopefully in the near future there will be the pitter patter of little gosling feet!
