This sweet boy is Snoepje, a 6 y.o. Domestic Long Hair.

Cats are rather different to assess and treat than dogs (or humans or horses to be fair) 🤔

Snoepje was fantastic to treat as he settled in the clinic quickly and was very tolerant during treatment 💆🏻

Good work Snoepje and Mum 😌🐾✨

This gorgeous girl is Ripley, a 5 month old White Swiss Shepherd 😍

Ripley’s owner brought her to BARC for a thorough check over as she had done a bit of a mischief at home. We found that she was experiencing some neck pain.

Ripley was a very good girl throughout her physiotherapy assessment and treatment. She received manual therapy, laser therapy and some exercises to work on at home.

Keep up the great work Ripley and mum! 🐾✨❤️

Our little apprentice, Laura, all too keen to help her dog Samson feel better ❤️

Please note, the laser was not in operation as Laura does not yet hold the relevant qualifications to provide this service 👩🏼‍🎓

This beautiful boy is Bruno, a 4 y.o. German Short Haired Pointer cross Boxer.

Bruno recently underwent TPLO surgery for cruciate ligament rupture in his left hindlimb 🤕

Bruno is usually quite anxious when it comes to new environments and experiences. We are thrilled that Bruno has settled quickly at BARC and is getting the most out of his rehabilitation 💪🏻

Bruno has taken well to the underwater treadmill, therapeutic exercise, laser therapy and manual therapy. He’s also grown quite partial to the treats on offer 😋

His mum is doing a fantastic job with his exercises and management at home, which are essential parts of Bruno’s recovery process.

This delightful lass is Daisy, a 7 y.o. American Staffordshire Terrier x

Daisy recently underwent amputation of her right back leg following a fibrocartilaginous embolism.

Dogs often adapt well to life on three legs. However Daisy has had a tougher time as she had TPLO surgery on her left stifle 6 weeks prior to her amputation.

We are working to improve Daisy’s strength and mobility to optimise her function and quality of life 💪🏻

Daisy is doing a fantastic job so far and we commend the consistent effort her mum is putting in at home.

This beautiful boy is Maverick, a 5 y.o. Great Dane x Bull Arab.

Maverick attended BARC for assessment and treatment of his sore right hindlimb 🤕

Maverick’s Mum advised that he can be a little unsure at times and has never taken a treat from anyone other than family. We said that’s okay and that we would endeavour to make physiotherapy a positive experience for him ✨

Maverick has been a star patient participating in the underwater treadmill, exercises, laser and manual therapy 💆🏻

We are very chuffed that Maverick has felt confident enough to indulge in a few treats from us at the end of his sessions 😋

We are proud of Maverick’s progress so far and look forward to him continuing to feel better 😌

Look at this gorgeous mother and son duo! 🥰

These are 9 y.o. Delinda and 1.5 y.o. Buzz, both Smooth Collies.

They each came in for physiotherapy assessment and treatment, including trialling the underwater treadmill.

They both took to the water well. Although Buzz, I think mum was the star pupil 😉🙌🏻

Both were an absolute joy to treat and have a fabulous human mum ensuring they are in optimal condition.

This is Mirabel, a 10 month old Bergamasco Shepherd Dog.

Did you know there are only about 50 Bergamasco Shepherd Dogs in Australia! How cool 🥰

Mirabel’s owner brought her to physiotherapy to ensure she is in tip top shape for her ongoing show career, as well as prepare her for her future performance and sporting endeavours 💪🏻

Mirabel did a fantastic job during her initial assessment, including trialling the underwater treadmill for this first time!

Mirabel has such a fun little personality and is certainly a joy to work with ✨
