Important Update!

There is no easy way to advise so many of my loyal clients this news.
Unfortunately Tidy Tails Salon will no longer be operating as of 30/05/24.
That will be my last day operating the salon.
There have been many different factors being involved within this process. And it has not been a decision taken lightly.
I will do my best to guide you with finding local similar natured groomers.
If you’re wanting to move your scheduled grooms forward within the next two weeks I do have some availabilities so please use the booking service to amend those future placements.

My sincere appreciation to all my clients for their patience this week. Covid really knocked me about however each one of you have been so understanding in changes to your bookings.
Despite my hopes to reopen today, I'm now in hospital with a severe kidney infection which has turned septic.
Doctors have advised it will keep me from returning home for at least five days. Unfortunately, all bookings for next week will need to be postponed, however I'll contact each of you individually once I'm on top of things in here to reschedule 🫶🏻

Hello, my name is Xena!

I really love my pats and snuggles and spending as much time as close as possible to my humans. Before coming into foster care I had not spent a lot of time around humans, so am still a little timid around loud noises. I am looking for a relatively calm and stress-free forever home that is stable and permanent.

I haven’t spent much time before my current home just being a dog, so don’t quite understand why you throw the ball away from us but I do love to have zoomies around the yard and play bounce with you.

I have learnt to walk on a lead and love going for walks with my human and the other dog at my foster home. I am happy to let people give me a pat if they ask nicely.

I would benefit from someone who is home a lot of the time. I’d be happy with the company of another friendly and playful dog, or regular doggy social time and good outings and exercise sessions. I’m okay with cats in the home as well.

Arlo came in this morning for her grooming appointment. Due to her recent diagnosis with collapsed Trachea, we took extra precautions during the grooming process by avoiding any use of leads or harnesses that could potentially exacerbate her condition. The before and after results were truly impressive. Such a star ✨

Baby Lola, a sweet and playful Toy Spoodle puppy, had her first puppy clip today. She was initially hesitant but warmed up quickly.
In the end, we learnt that clippers aren't as scary as they seem 🌸

My time spent with Teddy during our grooming session today was nothing short of blissful. His sweet and endearing nature, much like that of a saint, made me feel so grateful to have him in my salon. We shared countless snuggles and affectionate moments, making the entire experience utterly enjoyable 🥰

Massive day for us both with that summer deshed started. My salon looked like it was snowing but with it being almost 40c outside she will be feeling much better after a nap 🐾

This morning Barney & Bonnie were welcomed into my home salon. These bonded pair are currently being fostered by such loving parents through Hunter Animal Rescue.
Today really highlighted the importance of a space that is one on one. Every bit of attention was given to these pair. We overcame many hurdles together in a calm & gentle way to assist them in building confidence in a grooming setting. Anxiety can be a real concern with many dogs but building a trusting relationship assists them by not pushing, reading there queues, not being locked in a crate for hours and giving breaks where needed. There Forster parents were extremely grateful for my free offer and had a better understanding of what will be needed for them in a grooming setting moving forward once forever homes are found.
