A great day was had by all pony clubbers at the Sale Showgrounds today. Students went over their transitions, tempo, collection, flexion and straightness. Some of the transitions from halt to canter would have scored a 10 in a dressage test! Students should be proud of their achievements and efforts.
Thank you to the organisers, parents/carers and tireless volunteers for your endless efforts.

For those shipping Menai Eurostar doses to Western Australia can you PM me so that we can arrange for 1 shipment to WA to reduce transport costs once it arrives in Victoria.
Same goes for those shipping to NSW it is cheaper to ship in 1 go rather than multiple shipments. Thank you 😁 Shipment hasn't left the UK but I will advise once it has.

Fantastic day teaching at Longford Horse & Pony Club where the students are keen to learn and respectful. A big thank you to all of those who organise these rallies, prep the food, organise the instructors, etc. Your endless hours of hard work shows in the wonderful atmosphere this club provides.
Today the students did some shoulder in, transition work, straightness and excelled at everything I threw at them to challenge them and their horses. Well done and pat on the back to all 🐎

Nothing beats a Welsh, whether it's an A, B, C, D or E they are the most versatile breed.

📌✒️The "Jockey" of Artemision, 140 - 150 BC
It is the most magnificent cast statue of a horse and rider, surviving from Greek antiquity. It was recovered in pieces from an ancient shipwreck. The horse is rendered into a vigorous gallop at the time of the race. The animal's movement and anatomy are rendered in a completely realistic manner.
The rider is small in age and size, and his facial features suggest that he must have been black. He wears sandals and a tunic that fanned by the speed, while in his left hand he would hold the reins and in his right the whip. The statue, the work of an unknown sculptor, must have been dedicated to some important shrine.😍🤩

I don't get this sort of welcome from my co-workers 😆

A couple of years ago I bought my foundation broodmare who has also become my schooling horse (the faultless Burrowa breeding giving 110% temperament). Michelle is learning to ride with my broodmare balancing themselves rather than depending on each other for balance. An import part of training for both horse and rider.

A beautiful buckskin filly was born last night out of Rockfire Monarch at Brenhin Welsh Cob Stud out of a 3/4 Friesian mare, Francesca, she is one lucky mum 😁 Congratulations Denise and Jim Burrell on your early Christmas present 😁🥳

In France they taught me to ride on the buckle and they encourage their horses to stretch and balance, to be subtle and soft. I hope this training projects itself onto all of this stud's future horses as it has been the best training tool I have learned and it works on every horse I have trained. Burrowa Betrys enjoys this training and likes showing me how well she can do it too 😆 she's a character ❤ the Cobs 🐎
