We have been a bit MIA over here lately,
Sorry, we have had a good run with sickness and life, but we are back and we have a few things planned so keep your eyes peeled for our announcements!!!

This thoroughbred took everything in its stride, this is their second ride and first trot under saddle, Bernie staying calm as always and the TB took it all in their stride.
You canât really ask for much more.

Again I would like to congratulate Lacey and Alana for showing some great horsemanship and an overall good attitude, they both took home some goodies from Made By Jess (as well as a bunch of new skills and knowledge)
Give them a wonderful round of applause đđź

We would all like to thank everyone for comming, being open and willing to learn and having a crack at what each of the clinicians suggested!
If it wasnât for you, we wouldnât have been able to put on such a great weekend, filled with lots of laughs and good times.
We really do hope each and everyone of you had a good time and was able to take away a few things to continue to grow on.
A big thanks to Benny and Trish for making the trip down to spread their knowledge!

Reason number 2 why your horse will leave Cavallo Park and be ok with cows,
Our boys play with the cows some nights and Bernie will usually have a breaker on the go, if it is safe to, the cows will get slowly pushed past.

Disclaimer: This is why we usually put our feed in the middle of the yards, little lady is trying to pick up the scraps.

The event that took Darcy from 5th to 3rd. Taking out the working cow pattern on Heathfieldclarry âLarryâ this is such an achievement and one we are all very proud of Darcy for! Especially considering this is the first time competing in with the Juniors at Corryong! We would like to give a huge thanks to Trish Belcher and Benny for allowing Darcy the privilege of riding Larry! He is super appreciative! I donât think he will wipe the smile off his face for some days (maybe weeks) to come! #MFSR2024
I didnât get my phone out in time⌠but, this is Brookeâs little up and coming man. He comes out of the paddock every now and then. The other day we worked on his longeing and bernie stared to introduce a few simple leading skills

One of Bernieâs many options he has when warming up any horse, Something to get the horse thinking about foot placement while still having to keep an ear on Bernie and where he will go next! You can definitely see the respect this horse is starting to have with Bernieâs hand cues!! + You can hear our mascot laughing Also a good way to appreciate all the different levels we have in our back yard.
Breakers here definitely donât get âspecial treatmentâ. There is no âdonât do that, it might spook themâ which is what I think helps to make them as quiet as they are when they leave. As I like to say just some more exposure

Itâs great to have these ups and downs on our property, this was close to this horses 10th ride. Itâs always great to get horses used to uneven ground.
With the year slowly rapping up, we only have a few spots left to educate or re-educate your horses! Get in while you still can đ´ Video: of Darcy riding our daughters new horse Poppy, he is just seeing what she has to offer, gosh doesnât this little lad have no fear!

Two round yards
Darcy is at the age & knowledge level where he is now able to start helping out with the young breakers (under supervision) he is only going to keep learning more and more!
