It was cozzies first experience at the beach, and ahnas second time since she was a yearling.

I just so love giving our horses life experiences and not just leave them in paddocks everyday!

I’ve always wondered if horses would remember us if it ever came to making hard decisions to find them a new home.

Well over four years ago I had to make a hard decision for my riding boy “Spuddy” to find him a new home cause I wasn’t able to ride as often.

I had Spud since he was four and he was my first proper big horse that i owned myself and before I had the miniatures.

He was also the first horse I taught so many different things to and was the horse that improved my skills as years went on.

Well a week ago I got to visit him again 🥰…
You have no idea how magical it is to visit your old horses that you had to move on, and for them to remember you and all your tricks you taught them.

I so look forward to keeping in touch with Spuddy in the new year as I’m getting back into riding.

🖤COZZIE🖤

I just love teaching our young fellow new things and his riding has come along way already even tho he’s still green.

Since I’ve been riding for many years this is my first fully green broker I’ve owned and now training to become a stunning little show pony, and I’m so excited!

Only a couple of minutes of riding (because of his size and to build strength), after a full warm up session in side reins on the lunge and that’s all that’s needed.

Well it’s time to let the hat out of the bag with a little secret we’ve been keeping hidden until after states!

A few months ago I made the decision to further educate our lovely foundation gelding “Cozzie” into becoming a riding pony.

With him being shown in led all these years I’ve always wanted to do more with him and now I can.

This has been a new project for me and it’s been great being able to educate and ride again.

It’s currently baby steps but Cozzie has taken everything into his stride being lovely and soft in the mouth and moving beautifully forward! 🤍

I look forward to his brighter future in the riding ring as well as our led.

Overall the horses have done well, a few more things which we need to work on but it’s great to be out and have some homework to do before more shows.

The secret is out of the bag! 🥰

Our beautiful young gelding “Cozzie” has been very busy in his latest training exercises.

Since a baby he’s been such a good boy taking on new things and this was a huge step into his bright future plans.

He has been mouthed, which he took the bit and contact like a dream. And recently now has been put into side reigns, which as you can see he’s taking it on brilliantly.

Cozzie will be attending our upcoming show at the “AMHS States”, I cannot wait to have this mature boy back out in the ring.

Training is full swing for our little lady 🌸
Just look at that lovely front end movement!

Ahna was mouthed by myself and since then has moved forward in her training since those early days.

Our goal for this year will be getting her use to being in long reins next, but I am sure she’ll take it like a breeze as she has already.

She is still in her very fluffy winter coat, but that will soon be coming off for our first show for this year “AMHS States”.
