Big healthy Brown Tree Snake I pulled off the road the other night when I was in between jobs.
Lucky for the snake I spotted it when I did as another car was heading straight for it.
Thankfully that car stopped because of my hazard lights so I could safely get him off the road.

Beautiful little Red-bellied Black Snake that had to wait due to the Magpie running through Aldi.
Lucky for me it had a good hiding spot and the people who called kept a good eye on it till I arrived.

Extremely fast and very upset Eastern Brown I had to removed from a small birdcage the other day.
This snake felt trapped and confined in a small space (they hate that) and was super scared.
This was one of those jobs I wish I got footage of but I had to act fast as it was half hanging out by the time I got there.
What a job to start the year 😁

Blue-tongued Skink that was mistaken for a snake (dog found it and was very interested).
When the home owner went to inspect what the dog found, he could only see a small section of its back as it was hidden under a tarp.
That was enough to jump back, pull the dog back and call me.
Without a photo, it can be hard to give advice on what someone’s found.
Once we knew what it was, it was much safer to move him out of the dogs yard and back to safety in the nearby bushland.
If handled wrong, these guys can become very stressed which will make them defensive.
As you can tell by the film, he wasn’t worried about me at all 🥰

Using a pool cue (the aiming one in the shape of a horse shoe) to reach a Coastal Carpet Python right down the bottom of an old bbq chimney.
Thankfully this snake was very calm which made the job of pulling it up so much easier.
