Providing enrichment for your dogs doesn't need to be expensive or complicated. In fact sometimes it's the simplest things that provide the greatest mental stimulation. These activities encourage your dog to problem solve, learn new skills and become more confident.
Both Cam and Marvin had hours of entertainment with an empty box!! I would recommend you enjoy the activity with your dog and keep them under close supervision.

There is nothing better than seeing an open mouthed, googly eyed, happy grinned dog who has just caught a case of dog zoomies๐คฃ
Did you know that the technical name for zoomies is frenetic random activity periods, or FRAP!?! Zoomies are an energy burst your dog just canโt contain. In what seems to be equal parts joy and pent-up energy.
Certain times of day may trigger zoomies in dogs more than others, such as the first thing in the morning or in the evening, cooler weather, after a bath or even after pooping ๐ Zoomies most often occur in puppies and younger dogs, but the phenomenon can strike dogs of all ages and breeds at times.
Zoomies are a natural dog behavior that is most often no cause for alarm, so long as your pup has room to run without injuring themselves. However, constant zoomies may be a sign of a larger behavioral problem, so its a good idea to keep tabs on how often your dog is zooming and for what reasons.
Cam loves to zoom once or twice a day. Generally after pooping or first thing in the morning. Our almost 4 year old mini short haired dachshund never zooms ๐คทโโ๏ธ
