This racehorse came in from a spell and we were asked by her beautiful owners to help her this preparation.
Cryotherapy along with equine sports massage (credit to @equestricare for their amazing course if anyone is looking to become a qualified equine sports massage therapist) and credit to a great training program through booming trainer @jackbruceracing is how we have been able to help achieve these phenomenal results.
She had a forward lean through her thoracic sling, overdeveloped decending pectoral muscles and a weak hind end when she arrived. She was pulling her body rather than creating power from behind.
Two weeks in her pectorals had softened as she strengthened through her thoracic sling, however her body was tight from using muscles she hadn’t engaged for a while.
Week 4 we have seen a huge difference in this horse. She is now standing under self correctly and is conditioning well. Her body and muscles are relaxed and free from tension.
