It is with a very heavy heart and soul, that we must say Goodbye for Meow 😿

I have decided to close The Cat Retreat Cafe until further notice, due to the nature of our business and the QLD Government’s restrictions and mandates, making it impossible to operate with any normality.
We are an all-inclusive business who has never discriminated before and we do not wish to discriminate or feel threatened or coerced into a position of discrimination. 😿

Yes, we can make a few changes and make it kind of work…but we team cats and people in an already restricted and controlled environment to eliminate stress and anxiety for both the cats and the patrons. But, our operation can not handle inconsistencies for the best interests of the cats’ wellbeing.

All current bookings and annual memberships will be contacted shortly, whereby we offer a refund where applicable.

A huge thank you to the team @ Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge for their partnership and support. I am incredibly humbled to be a part of this venture where we save the lives of adult cats and find their loving, caring furever homes 😻 Please keep an eye on their website www.sippycreek.com.au and their socials for our re-opening 🐈 🙌

Meet our Chelsea!
Chelsea is one of our adoptable cats 🐱 Only 4 years old, outgoing and friendly, she enjoys attention for short periods of time and will then happily do her own thing. She’s used to kids over the age of 7, and is fine with other cats, though she prefers to just chill by herself.
