Sorry to let friends of Archie know that tonight Christmas Eve was Archies last day on earth. He died peacefully at home and will be seeing Brian right now. Thank you for all Archies pats and hugs. Archie loved meeting new people always and loved to lean on people. We will post photos of Archie here soon. Archie was enjoying some light swimming at the river the last month.

Be careful at the beach at the moment my furry friends. Some terrible human is out there doing this. At least seven dogs are suspected to have been poisoned at a Sunshine Coast beach. Police, the RSPCA and the council are trying to confirm the cause of the tragic deaths.

Dec 9, 2021. Archie had a nice walk today. For those that dont know one of his owners Brian Abbey has passed away on December 3rd 2021. He gave a brave fight. One of the things that made Brian sad in his last days was that he didnt have the energy to say goodbye to all of the people in Mooloolaba that made him happy every day. We discussed bringing Archie into the hospital to say goodbye but Brian had to focus on his breathing. Brian knew he had a short time to live and still made people smile and talked of seeing Raphael one of his other dogs in heaven. Brian died beside Brenda his wife of nearly 54 years. The family thank everyone for the condolences recieved so far on the walks and cards and flowers. If you see Archie on a walk give him some pats and some love.
