Our Story - Training The Delta Way
Leisl and Cas met while completing the Delta Therapy Dog training course with their own dogs Blue and Lucy (pictured above). They realized quite quickly they both had a passion for dogs, positive reinforcement dog training and the connection between humans and canines.
It wasn’t until a few years later their paths crossed again when they were assigned the same aged care facility for their Delta Therapy Dog visits with Blue and Lucy.
Cas started studying Certificate IV in Companion Animal Services with the Delta Institute to gain a better understanding of canines and how they communicate. After discussing the course over coffee one day Leisl also decided to enrol and the dream to start their own dog training business was born.
Cas & Leisl completed their Certificate IV in Companion Animal Services in 2019 and are qualified Delta Dog Trainers. They are full members of the Delta Institute, APDT & PPGA & are mindDog (psychiatric assistance dog) preferred trainers. Further study led Cas to a Certificate in Canine Fear and Leisl a Certificate in Senior Dog Care & Accredited Certificate in Canine Nutrition.
