Brought Hugo out to the beach today, after months of kind of avoiding it… I was admittedly quite anxious at first when I decided to bring him to the dog beach again.
Hugo is meant to run (like, it’s in the nature of his breed too) and he enjoys the free range play, oval runs just weren’t enough. Dogs can tell your energy too… Todd convinced me to just loosen up and trust Hugo, just like how he trusts us.
This evening easily became one of the best days in the start of 2024. He went hard doing lil’ swimmer runs and was super attentive on us… it felt a bit emotional. Made me once again realise the pure bond we share with our dogs and the impact they leave on our daily lives.
Hugo may be the face of Ruff Day, but he and Harley are our little sparks, and we are so grateful to have them by our side now and the many years to come ❤️
P.S. Cronulla peeps may start seeing this mini White & Brown beast zooming through the waters on the regular 😂
