🐎✨FULL TIME TRAINING & CAMPAIGNING SPACE ON OUR TEAM ✨🐎

We now are offering 1 space for a pony to come on board at M & L Equestrian for full training and competition exposure, a rare opportunity to get your pony into the ring with a professional rider at a reasonable rate. This is the first time we’ve offered campaigning and are looking for a special pony to enjoy the season with us. If you’re pony is lacking exposure or you wish to start their career off with an experienced rider here is your chance!

Lower Rate for youngstock to be shown in hand, feel free to enquire for more information.

Space available from February, short term of minimum 2 month stays are welcome. We have shows most weekends so plenty of opportunities for your ponies to get what they need out in the ring. 🐎

Junior worker wanted for weekends.

7:30AM-10:30AM

only 2-3 hours (more available with time)

Tasks include:

-cleaning stables
-cleaning yards
-filling waters
-feeding ponies
-rugging/unrugging
-cleaning gear
-washing/lunging (depending on experience)
-general horse maintenance

We’ve only got ponies and they are all well behaved but still young so you need to be confident enough to handle them.

Plenty of opportunities involved, including show grooming, lessons etc. really need someone that has attention to detail, quick and can work unsupervised. Must have horse experience and willing to commit to the weekends (happy to find two people to fill this role if you can only do 1 morning)

So grateful for Kyah and Jacey for trusting us with their beautiful girl, we are so lucky to have barbie as apart of our team and hope to one day see our beautiful daughter Myah take the reins of this awesome pony.

We decided to venture to Bowral show today for 5 quick led classes and we couldn’t be prouder of barbie coping super well with a new home and person. Didn’t get any ribbon photos as we were rushing home for Bubs to have a nap but a great start to the season.

✨ Rocky ✨

16.3hh, 16 year old OTTB.

Rocky is a hard-working, eager-to-please gentleman. He has a great attitude and is a quick learner, successfully establishing so many ridden basics in the 2 months I had to work with him during uni break. Whilst ridden-experience might not be on his side, his character and ground manners certainly are, and with a confident and capable teen/young adult looking for the kind of horse they can continue educating in their desired discipline, Rocky is the man for the job. As such a versatile and flashy horse, Rocky is suitable for many riders. He’s had experience doing basic show jumping and flat work, has gone on trail rides and ridden ba****ck without any concerns. Now he’s just looking for his person.
He’s had a few weeks break over Christmas but is being brought back in for work.

PACKAGE DEAL ON LESSONS 🐎 FEB DATES IN COMMENTS // CATERING FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS! School ponies available from 12hh-15hh

We’ve got a special deal for lessons in 2025. I have enjoyed watching all of our lovely clients progress so much from regular riding lessons and have decided to offer discounted lessons if booked in bulk over a 4 week period. This is a great opportunity to get in the saddle and learn as much as you can over a short period of time.

We are offering this as Full time (7 sessions over 4 weeks) or Part time (5 sessions over 4 weeks) depending on how much you’re prepared to commit to riding.

30 minute sessions were $70 now $60
45 minute sessions were $100 now $90

These are the rates on our school ponies and are slightly reduced again on your own. All lessons are taken place at Fitzroy Falls NSW and weather isn’t a concern as we have an indoor arena.

🐎 Horsey friends we are on the hunt for a lease pony. 🐎

This must be a pony that is quiet enough for kids to ride in lessons but I’m more than happy to help educate them further if need be.

Any age is fine
More whoa than go
No dirt, absolutely no buck, bolt, bite, kick, rear or anything silly as kids will be around them regularly.

I’m more than happy to negotiate terms with owners, I can help sell said pony in the future or I’m willing to do added work under saddle to help progress this pony if you’d like it to return to you in the future.

All of our ponies get regular body work sessions, farrier, fed properly and kept fit. We are a competitive show stable that are wanting to expand our lesson program and only have young ponies that are either unbroken or not quiet enough for the children coming through. This is a great opportunity for owners struggling to sell ponies or wanting some extra miles on them by a professional trainer.

We educated Noddy here at M & L Equestrian and asked if it was possible for him to return to start our lesson program. ✨ Snazzy ✨ One of our favourite ponies for 2024 🐎 We are so proud of snazzy starting his ridden career, we’ve had a few obstacles along the way but he made it through them all in a calm manner. Our only goal for our breakers is to achieve a walk, trot and canter in a relaxed manner without any pressure in different environments. All we can ask for is forward and soft, the rest comes with time. We are so grateful for the opportunity to break/train so many beautiful ponies and look forward to a new year of many more to come. We promise to keep you more updated with all of them in 2025.
