Colquhoun Park Trojan

Our one in a million pony

Trojan is a beautiful Arabian riding pony x welsh, standing at 13.3hh and 6 years old by the beautiful sire “Keira Park Cascade”. Trojan has been bought on slowly under saddle allowing him to have the best start at life. He is now training shoulder in, counter canter, extensions and leg yields with ease. He is a very willing and well put together pony that wants a job to do, he has absolutely no dirt in him but he is a pony on a mission. Trojan loves to canter around the back paddock over some jumps, send it around the novelties or is more than happy to cruise on a trail ride. He has been ridden by capable children at home and comes back well to a new rider. Ideally we are looking for a competitive capable confident child rider, teen or small adult to continue pushing Trojan towards the top. He would make an amazing pony dressage prospect due to his beautiful movement or will continue to excel in the show ring with his look at me presence. Has been to pony club and absolutely loved the change of scenery, Trojan is a very bold and willing pony with the world at his feet. He has competed 3 seasons under saddle and has never come home without a broad ribbon and comments from the judges about how amazing his movement is.

Already qualified for Canberra Royal 2026 in his breed/colour classes.

This is the hardest decision I’ve ever made and he is only available due to having a baby. If we don’t find the perfect home Trojan will not leave. $20,000 price is negotiable home is not. Best suited to a show/dressage home that wants a quality pony to take to the top.

Who is ready for an amazing Easter camp at M & L Equestrian?

We’ve decided to revamp the bunk house and offer our first overnight camp for Easter, with a range of Easter activities for the little ones and some well planned sessions for the older kids.

Ages 8 years and above for overnight stays

2 nights 3 days but we are also offering day rates for people that want to come and go.

This is a great event for younger ones as well as teens to adults wanting to expand their knowledge in show prep, in hand sessions, dressage tests, jumping and flat work. We have a range of activities planned out for fun as well as educational.

Easter egg hunt and prizes for different events will be on offer 🐎

Very rarely will you see a 3 day camp that covers as much as we’ve got on offer so message us for prices and details.

✨ Deekays Park Astro ✨

12.1hh rising 8 years old, pure Australian pony registered APSB and Saddle pony. Astro is the kindest pony you will ever meet, he is always the first to the gate and will follow anyone around all day long if he could. He is the type that would get in the backseat of your car if you let him and because of this we have absolutely adored bringing him along under saddle. Astro has been used as a leadline for small kids in the past but only properly broken in by us last year and he is now well established in his paces, he requires absolutely no lunging just get on and go. He is a very smart, willing and kind boy on the ground and under saddle taking absolutely everything in his stride. By far the easiest pony in the stable to prep for a show and will sleep on the job all day while out and about, never comes home without a champion. Astro hasn’t competed under saddle yet but has been ridden out and about with ease, he could easily commence newcomer this year or the following. Astro has tried a few little jumps and has been taken around our little cross country course at home with ease, he has been ridden by a capable 12 year old and tries his heart out. Currently stabled and in full show condition, we are hoping to find the perfect fit for Astro being either a small rider with an older sibling to help bring him along or an older rider wanting a competitive small open pony.

Home is most important, we will keep him if we don’t find him the perfect home.

Now offering 2 more agistment spaces at our beautiful property in Fitzroy Falls. Looking for kind and relaxed people to join our friendly group of agistees/clients. This is a shared paddock situation 2 per paddock, lots of grass

Includes

-access to indoor and outdoor arena

$150 per horse per week, Beautiful big paddocks with lovely natural shade. Easy going group of people. Hay supplied by us if needed (when grass is low) but paddocks available to rotate.

One of our personal ponies we finally started under saddle over the Christmas period. The sweetest pony and so trainable, we’ve got a long way to go but he works his little heart out.

Unfortunately will be for sale in the near future as we have too many ponies and would love to see him being the centre of attention with a new owner as he absolutely loves people. ✨

✨ Karlana Holly’s Star ✨

Levi is a beautiful Riding pony gelding, standing at 14.1hh and 9 years old. Levi has successfully completed one season under saddle, gaining multiple champions in all of his classes. Levi has done a bit of everything with his current owners including jumping, trails etc with teenagers/adults and has taken it all in his stride. He is a typical riding pony and can be forward so he requires his rider to be soft and confident to get the best out of him. Levi has a very kind attitude and tries his best at all times, we are looking for a confident/capable rider to continue Levi’s journey as we know he has so much to offer a young ambitious rider.
