Happy 6th Birthday to Tonka — my partner, my heart dog, and the world’s most charming chaos machine.
From day one you’ve taught me more than any textbook ever could… mostly because you destroyed the textbooks in a blur of fur and floppy ears before I could read them. You’ve helped me grow, helped countless dogs overcome their challenges, and somehow managed to do all that while vibrating at the energy level of a caffeinated toddler in a wind tunnel.
Thank you for being my teammate, my teacher, and my daily reminder that even the wildest spirits can have the biggest hearts. Here’s to another year of adventures, breakthroughs, and you pretending that “calm” is just a rumour other dogs talk about.
