She’s ok, nothing sinister, just some antibiotic treatment.. but it freaked me out thinking it was a tick crater …. 🙄🙄🙄

Ok this is a rant… so feel free not to read…I was walking Ella early this morning when we were set upon by a dog that was in the front yard of a neighbours house. The dog ran up to Ella aggressively and began to nip at her face. Of course I get in between them and protect Ella .. the owner came running out yelling don’t get in the middle of them etc etc… well I’m sorry … Ella’s my baby and if anything or anyone tries to hurt her of course I’m going to do anything I can to protect her.

I guess my point is, If you know your dog is reactive / aggressive to other dogs .. please keep them on a lead.
I know most of us do the right thing, but there are a small minority that ruin it for the rest of us … It’s really not that hard. I don’t blame the dog, I blame the owner.
It’s too late to start yelling at your dog to return when it’s already got its eye on the prize .. it’s too late then!

We got lucky today… but I’m so angry that the dog even had the opportunity to approach us!

It’s a lesson we can all learn from. I just plead, always keep your dog on a lead, unless it’s at an unleashed dog park … then it’s at your own risk… seriously I’m so angry 😡

Someone decided to get herself an ear infection .. poor baby tired and sooky after her trip to the vet today 😞🥰 Just wants her mumma tonight, bless her ❤️

Just a reminder flat / long ears and humid weather creates the perfect environment for ear infections. Lucky I caught Ella’s early... keep an eye on your doggos ears in this weather !!

Heads up to all my local doggy friends… looks like it’s a night for fireworks.
A friend just informed me about fireworks at the SAN and also Asquith Park tonight.
Please keep your doggos safe !!! Make sure they are inside and can’t escape, many dogs choose “flight” and can escape from the most secure of yards.
My Ella is terrified of fireworks so I understand how important it is to be prepared… 🐶🐶❤️

Ella and I are feeling pretty proud of ourselves today. We won a Kong toy from Dr Katrina … can’t wait to receive it! I had to comment if Ella has been naughty or nice this year. Definitely nice .. well most of the time.. This is Ella’s 4th competition win.. haha I can win for her but never for myself 😂🙄

Can’t believe a whole year has passed since I met this gorgeous little man. I’ve been looking after Freddie since he was 8 weeks old and he just turned 1!!

One of the best parts of working with dogs is watching them grow up from puppies who are trying to navigate the world to fine young confident doggos!

It’s been a pleasure watching you grow Freddie and I look forward to more cuddles and adventures 🥰🥰🥰

These forage balls say everything Christmas with their fun Christmas colours. They may even help keep your dog occupied while you enjoy Christmas lunch and or dinner!!

A forage ball is great mental stimulation for your dog. It can be used to control boredom, slow down a fast eater, or simply as a fun reward.

All you need to do is sprinkle their favourite kibble or treats in the folds of the material for them to find.

This is an enrichment activity and the forage ball should NOT be used unsupervised. Please remove the ball once all the treats have been found and put it away for next time. This also makes the forage ball even more exciting.

Dog walking in summer (well spring) is hard work .. the awful heat, helping the dogs dodge all the bindi’s in the grass and the damn bees in the clovers… constantly worrying about ticks.. etc etc …but what makes it all worth it is seeing my doggos smiling faces and happy tails … (just a few happy snaps from some of my doggos) 🥰🐶

The perfect spring day for chin rubs and ear scratches!! 🥰☀️

Ella has suddenly developed a fear of storms… she never used to worry about them. So now I’m left trying to find ways to calm her anxiety. Last night I tried some Doggy TV with her .. this seemed to help (until the power went of 🙄). In the video you’ll still see her displaying anxious behaviours such as panting, lip smacking and yawning however watching the TV gave her something else to focus on… Hope everyone was safe last night 🥰🐶

Ella hit the jackpot today! She always picks up a stick at the end of our street on the way home. However, today she decided a branch off a tree would be so much more fun 😂😬🐶
