My first question to my instructor was:

“what is the difference between the poodle first puppy trim and the second one?” 🤦🏻‍♀️

This is how I started my first attempt of a poodle second puppy trim: from ground 0.

Not all “oodles” require full body clipping or shaving. For the ones with unfurnished coat, regular brushing and thorough deshedding are even more important for the overall health of their skin and coat rather than just clipping.

In the example below, we removed excess of undercoat, dry sebum and dead skin, reliving the hair follicles and promoting new hair growth.
