We celebrated with a little party to bid farewell to Marco, one of our original daycare and long-term patients, as he moves to Melbourne for a life immersed in the arts. Wishing him and his family a safe journey and looking forward to their return 😭💔

This is Gertrude the constipated Queen 🚽👑. She’s majestic, mildly offended, and currently full of… regret 💩(and maybe kibble).

She didn’t choose the vet life—but the vet life chose her.

Send fiber and good vibes.

🚨 Rat Lungworm on the Rise 🚨

Due to the increased rain and wet weather Rat lungworm is on the rise around Sydney 🌧️.
Humans and pets alike can be affected.
This parasite is carried by rats and spread through snails, slugs, and even their slime trails — meaning curious pets who sniff, lick, or eat these critters (or contaminated grass, water, or toys) are at risk.

🧠 While this disease is still considered rare, the parasite can travel to the brain and spinal cord, causing serious neurological disease in dogs. Symptoms can include:
• Pain or stiffness
• Weakness or lameness
• Uncoordinated movements
• Neck or back pain
• Behavioral changes

⚠️ If you notice any of these signs, contact us immediately.

👉 What can you do?
• Don’t let your dog eat or play with snails, slugs, or frogs.
• Keep water and food bowls indoors.
• Check your garden and yard regularly.

Prevention is key. Stay safe and keep those noses out of trouble! 🐶🐌
