Here are a few hazards for your pet to avoid.
🍖 Fatty foods, we all want to share a little bit of ham from our dinner plate to our furry friend with giant puppy dog eyes. But your pet can be at risk of pancreatitis a painful condition that will require hospitalisation after devouring more fat than your pet is used to.
🦴 Bones, cooked bones can become quite brittle and are prone to splintering. They can injury your pets mouth, become stuck or cause an intestinal blockage.
🍇 Fruit cake or fruit platters, many of these ingredients can be toxic to your pet. They can cause anything from gastro intestinal upset to kidney failure.
🍫 Chocolate or nut bowls, like above can cause gastro intestinal upsets, tremors, seizures and sometimes death.
🧅 Onions in gravy or from the bbq can cause anaemia.
🍷 Alcohol, your pet is much more sensitive to alcohol and can become poisoned very quickly.
🎄 Decorations, tinsel and lights can be chewed or ingested. This can cause choking hazards or an obstruction that will require surgery.
This reminder is crucial to keeping your pets safe.
