In addition to the standard dog walking service, I also provide the following for dogs and cats (over 20 years’ experience caring for cats):
* Dog and cat sitting at client's houses - I believe minding your pet at their own places helps reduce the dog's anxiety when their owner is away, as they are cared for in their own environment. Rates are negotiable depending on location.
* Walking, feeding and playing with dogs - Coming to the client's place to feed their pets and replenish drinking water when the owner is away from home. Each visit includes a 1-hour walk plus 30 minutes for feeding and subsequent playing time.
* Feeding and replenishing water for dogs and cats - Coming to feed the client's pets and replenish drinking water. Rates are negotiable depending on location.
* Watering plants and gardens - $2 per application in addition to dog walking/pet minding. Prior to the initial appointment, I visit the owner and pet at their premises at a mutually convenient time to meet them and get an understanding of their surroundings and needs. There is no charge for this visit. Testimonials:
* Gwen is always creative in inventing new games to exhaust my energetic and super cheeky Japanese Spitz Shiro, who is always excited to see Gwen and believes she is his pack leader. Thanks Gwen for your help with raising Shiro from a pup to a healthy, clever and happy poochy!! - Mabel, Matraville
* I am the owner of a 5 year old bulldog Winston. I am a small business owner that doesn’t have a great deal of spare time. Due to time constraints, I have had to engage Gwen’s services on many occasions to look after Winston’s needs. This involved walking, grooming and occasionally dog sitting. Being that Winston is a bulldog, he is prone to certain medical issues and Gwen has always catered to these concerns beforehand and there has never been a health issue. I thoroughly recommend Gwen’s services. – Anton, Alexandria
* I met Gwen through a work function and we immediately bonded over our love of dogs. So much so that I couldn't wait to tell her that I was the proud owner of an Australian Bulldog puppy and get her thoughts. We have met up for play dates with my dog Momoe and Winston, a British Bulldog. Momoe took to Gwen straight away and had great fun. I would not hesitate to recommend Gwen as someone that will take good care of your four legged family member. – Deanne, Erskineville
* My 7 year old Russian Blue x DSH Felix is a shy indoor cat who has been raised to enjoy listening to classical music and eating salad greens and chick peas. This makes it very hard to board Felix when my husband and I go away. Gwen has been able to cater for Felix in a way that makes me feel completely reassured. Although Gwen is very much a “dog person”, I would wholeheartedly recommend Gwen’s services to other “crazy cat people” like me! – Amy, South Hurstville
