On a hot steaming evening we took out training outside for graduation
The distractions started to sabotage training .With more things going on , news smells , sights , people passing the pups fatigues more quickly . More p*e breaks were needed . More space was needed to settle pups and if we ran out of space higher reinforcement value was needed

Lots of valuable lessons
So often we feel the pups should just be able to transfer their skills . Why are they so much more excitable outside the home ?
Now you may understand stand
Options are
Choose open spaces at off peak time
Or keep session much shorter
Or add in more management such as a long lead

Most of all dog give up or give in
Your pup needs your support to be able to emotional regulate
Without it your relationship suffers.
