Even though there is a new horse on the truck - 6 year old Rosie (Glenara Miss Myka) is still the favourite. She proved this weekend how much she likes boneo - placing in the 1.05 and stepping it up to 115! Glenara Park Stud

An update on the amazing Kostya. He is now 22 and enjoying his retirement. He has spent a couple of months in the retirement paddock at Arandth but with the cold weather and lack of feed he has come home so we can get him through the winter. For those that don’t know Kostya - he was a sucessful OTT showjumper for firstly Jess Bertram and then Tony Ericson. He was pulled out of Tony’s paddock as an older horse to provide Sophie Pearce and then Lyla the opportunity to learn to jump around some bigger tracks. He provided Lyla the opportunity to compete in the Children’s championships, jumped up to 1.20m and win the 2020 Victorian Interschools championship. He is a very special horse and we will always be thankful for Tony, Derelys and Pearcey for providing Lyla with the opportunity to partner with him - without the partnership with this special horse and the support from so many in the showjumping community Lyla wouldn’t be doing what she is today!

Back when the jumps were a little smaller - and so was the pony. Buddy was Lylas first pony when she moved back to Australia. He is very special to all of us and we are grateful to still see him in his later years as he is a key member of the Equine Assisted Learning at Arandth in Albury team.

Roxy … oh what a ride!

Today, the very special Myridersnota Roxstar joined her new family. Our wish is that she offers her new young rider the same incredible opportunities she provided Lyla.
Roxy has proven herself to be the bravest and gutsiest horse we've ever known.
Over the past two years, she has not only been a partner but also a teacher to Lyla, imparting these same attributes on her riding.
Whether in a speed class or tight jump-off, they were a formidable team.
While we always knew Roxy’s time with us would be brief, the accomplishments they achieved together are immeasurable.
We are forever grateful to the Parker Family for providing this opportunity. May her new family love her as much as we do.

Today Lyla had to make the hard decision to say goodbye to the beautiful Jinx. She was a very special pony and very loved by us all. She provided lyla with amazing opportunities and they had the best partnership. Don’t you wish they could live forever.

Beautiful Autumn was also in the Rising Stars (7 years and under) 1.10-1.15 at Mt Gambier, 9th overall. Whether it’s 1m or 1.15m she makes it look effortless.Autumn is currently for sale for $15k if you know anyone looking for a great A grade Pony club mount or reliable showjumper for a small adult (ridden in a snaffle)

Lyla and Glenara Miss Myka had a great round in the rising stars at Mount Gambier. Clear in the first round 110-115, and 8th in the Jump off. The jump off fences at 120+ are the biggest they have faced together.

2024 World Cup Show

2024 NVSJ World Cup Show Myridersnota Roxstar 1.05m 🥇 They went out early and set the pace. Over 80 riders tried to catch them - but Roxy was just too competitive. If you are looking for your next best friend - She is available for sale to the right home, to provide her next rider with the amazing opportunities she has given Lyla.

2024 Tallangatta show

2024 Tallangatta Show - there are not many shows so close to the water - and thankfully 5 degrees cooler than the rest of Victoria. Nothing better than finishing a hot day with having a swim with the ponies down at the weir. Roxy proved not only is she a talented jumper but also loves a bareback ride and play in the water (with a special jockey) and Lyla got to ride her favourite 5 year old (what a special horse Sparkles is)

Unfortunately the truck driver is out with an injury - but Lyla and Autumn were fortunate enough to catch a ride to Deniliquin show. Huge thanks to Claudia and Graydn for making it possible. This is Autumns 3rd show for the season and after 6 rounds she still hasn’t touched a rail, for the win today in the 1m! For anyone looking Autumn is available for sale - suitable for a confident teen or small adult!

2024 Gundagai Show - Day 2 Myridersnota Roxstar - proving she is pretty hard to beat 🥇105 open Prince Calaf 🥉115 juniors (and special mention for getting through to the 3rd round of the 6 bar, only knocking the last jump at 140cm) Autumn Gold 5th 90cm Open (lovely clear round) Glenara Miss Myka - nearly got taken out of a gazebo when a storm came up, went on to be clear in first round of 105cm, but unfortunately had to circle in the jump off when someone was standing in front of a jump

2024 Gundagai Show - Day 1 It was a busy first day with 4 horses at Gundagai this year. Lovely grounds and shady trees made the warm weather more bearable. Glenara Miss Myka (Rosie) went double clear today for a 3rd in the 6 year old class at Boneo (against some of the best riders in the country and many talented young horses). This was the biggest track that she has jumped. There are so many people who have supported lyla over the last 12 months with this young mare but wanted to say a huge thanks to Des Gleeson Showjumping Coach for helping Lyla and Rosie prepare for this class.

2023 was a year to be remembered. Lyla welcomed two young horses to her team - 5 year old Glenara Miss Myka (Rosie) and 2 year old, Derek (Tulara Ziniero gelding). She was selected for several representative opportunities, starting with the amazing opportunity to ride in Mexico at the Global Amateur tour. She represented the state at Interschool Nationals on the amazing Myridersnota Roxstar and then competed for Victoria at the 2023 Trans-Tasman. The highlight of the year was riding in the Juniors at Adelaide Royal. There are so many people who have done so much to support Lyla throughout the year. To the coaches, family and friends we want to say Thankyou. Especially to the Parker Family for allowing her to ride Roxy K&C Jumping Team for providing the opportunity to compete the very special OTT Prince Calaf in Juniors Team Glass Showjumping for getting Lyla and her horses to Adelaide and many other shows throughout the year Mingara Performance Horses for supporting Lyla with Derek And Andrea Williams for being the best neighbour and for everything you do for us. Looking forward to more adventures in 2024!

Great way to finish 2023 - definitely last show of the year when it’s on New Year’s Eve. First time in the velodrome at Mt Gambier - the highlight was 3rd in the 1.05 on Glenara Miss Myka. Great to see her confident at this height - second show back. Can’t wait for 2024 with her!
