🥁🥁🥁🥁We know you've been waiting, so here it is!! And yes!! It's now even BIGGER than ever! 👏👏👏💰💰💰

🏆Nominations open 7pm, Sunday 15th February and are open 48 hours only.

🏆Nominations are online only via website or mobile app.

🏆Website Nominations are accessible by non UMHA members. You will still need to create a username and password when completing your details.

🏆Mobile App is available to current UMHA members. The app can be downloaded by non-members but not all functions are accessible.

🏆Payment is by debit / credit card only. A third-party payment gateway is used to ensure the highest security of your payment details.

⭐Be sure to book your Saturday night dinner and purchase your limited-edition trucker cap with your entry.

‼️A practice Nomination event is also now available for anyone to access so they can see how Nominations will look and work. Please familiarise yourself with this sample event so you feel confident in using this new system. There are step by step instructions available to help you through the simple process.

💙 CHARITY TEAM YARDING WEEKEND - 11th & 12th MAY - ANNUAL " OUT OF THE HAT " TEAM YARDING 💙

🌟🌟 NOMINATION FORMS AVAILABLE TOMORROW (MONDAY) & OPEN WEDNESDAY 1st MAY 7PM 🌟🌟

😀It's that time of year again!! It's time for some seriously fun fun and all in the name of a good cause!!

😍For as long as we can remember (and that's a long time!!) UMHA has always generously supported local and National Charities alike as well causes closer to home.

💙Our chosen Charity for 2024 is Asthma Australia and we will be supporting them as much as possible throughout the year.

💙As we have in previous years, our Charity Team Yarding will see ALL PROFITS donated to Asthma Australia.

🤩As a bit of extra fun, all Seniors and Juniors teams are drawn out of the hat and of course and you MUST wear as much of the theme colour as possible - This year is BLUE, so go your hardest!! Upcycle last year's outfit and donate the rest to this great cause! There's some great prizes for Best Dressed!

💰Saturday night will be another fun filled evening with Casserole dinner (please bring to share), Trivia & Games and fundraising activities galore.

‼️Nomination Forms will be available in the coming days and OPEN AT 7PM 1ST MAY. Entries will only be accepted via Nomination Forms (no texts or calls please).

🏃🏃‍♂️Nominations will close when at capacity so get in quick!!!

⭐Additional events may be added time permitting.

⭐Seniors - 2 team limit - All Riders must be full or weekend Members.

💝Sunday is Mother's Day, so we will be making sure they all get a surprise treat 💕

G'day to everyone who attended our National Team Yarding Championship event.

What a fantastic weekend! . Thank you to all of our competitors who travelled near and far.
We kicked off at 8am Friday morning with the task of completing 408 runs over 3 days ahead of us.

With the Cattle collared and ready to go, the day went off extremely well. There were a ton of times with 3 head yarded under the minute which was great to see.

We also received lots of good feedback about the cattle which is always great to hear as a lot of time and effort goes into finding cattle suitable to use.

Saturday was much the same, just add a rain . With our hard working Committee and band of volunteers who were not only running the cattle, the office , the Canteen and general running of things but we also hosted our sponsors/ cattle donors V.I.P Tent where all our donors enjoyed some refreshments and snacks while taking in all the action..... But wait there's more! Lets also put on a roast and dessert for 250 + people and throw in a huge raffle, Calcutta and a Top Ten presentation. ( bloody awesome effort team UMHA) 😁. Thanks to the Bullioh Football Club for helping dish up dinner to the hungry crowd.

A few cold beers and many lies told around the fire with lots of laughter was a great way to see the end of Saturday's competition.

Sunday being the day we were all waiting for had arrived with all our finalists marshalling in the arena at 8am for a judges address and a photo shoot. All looking pretty schmick in their UMHA blue Top Ten finalists shirts. Getting them to line up was like herding cats but that's another story😁😉 (just kidding folks)

Judges talk done, photo shoot done, grand entry and intros done, it was down to the Australian Anthem.

One through to thirty went pretty quick with the huge crowd of people cheering and clapping all the way through, it ended with a back to back win with Captain Megan Manning , Rod Bourlet and Shane McKenzie taking out the competition with a score of 9 head 02:43.03.

A huge thanks to our Judges, Peter Roe and Libby Story who judged all 408 runs. It's a bloody tough job that no one envies but with cattle welfare at the top of the list, they did a brilliant job.

I really just want thank all our hard workers that made the weekend a massive success. Without them none of this would happen. The saying "the Team Work makes the Dream Work" is 100% true.

To our cattle donors and sponsors, we are so grateful to have a great local community that supports us. Thank you.

The gorgeous Jess Fittock , Store Manager, will be at the Championships with a trade stall so pop on in and stock for all your horsey wants and needs over the weekend.
