Another cow we have a lot of time for!

Cann Valley Supermoon (A.I.)

A fantastic combination of genetics out of Cann Valley Lunar Eclipse and by O’Hara Sir Charles (only 2 registered progeny both bred by Cann Valley.)

Supermoon calved down at 21 months and went on to be crowned Supreme Exhibit at Royal Canberra Show 2022.

Most recently she was crowned Grand Champion Female at the Royal Brisbane Show (EKKA). Further to this she also was awarded Interbreed Champion Female at EKKA, which an Australian Lowline hadn’t won since 2012!

All in all, she is pretty special. Not only do we have some outstanding natural progeny from her but we also have some Embryo Transfer calves who are spectacular.

Cann Valley Lunar Eclipse - 11.5 years old.

She gets a lot of love on this page — and honestly, as she should. Lunar Eclipse is the first female I have ever bred to proudly carry the Cann Valley name, and she has set the bar higher than I ever imagined.

Not only has she become a multi-champion in her own right, but she’s also proving herself as an incredible producer. She has given us multiple champion winners, time and time again, and continues to shape the future of Cann Valley with every calf. Creator of my famous “Moon” line.

Here’s to Lunar Eclipse — the matriarch, the milestone, and the girl who started it all.

After I thought showing was over for the year, I was offered last minute to work at Canterbury A & P at Christchurch in New Zealand!

Here I am, working for the Hall Family and I’m very grateful for the experience and opportunity.

Consisting of Angus, Herefords, Murray Greys, Galloways & Belted Galloways - we love working with a variety of breeds.

Yesterday, I clipped the entire show team of 15 animals. Today we had judging in some very wet weather but with some great champion results.

I’ve been lucky enough to see some Lowlines here and they are doing a fantastic job partnering with a school and getting the breed out and about.

Everyone has been extremely friendly apart from mocking my accent 🤣

Red Poll Youth Camp - Judging Junior Judging & Paraders

Bendigo Show - Judging Breed Classes and the Interbreed

As an exhibitor myself it’s an absolute privilege to be able to give my opinion and assessments on such quality Cattle. I know the blood, sweat and tears that go into preparing these Cattle correctly.

I have throughly enjoyed both events and can’t wait till the next one!

We were extremely proud to see the success Archer Valley Ranch achieve at the 2025 NILE in the US!

Especially the results of AVR CVS Radicals Noelle who was 2025 Nile Junior Champion.

Noelle is one of the first calves sired by Rotherwood Radical, a bull Vicki & I exported semen from to the US.

It’s amazing to see the quality shine through and our genetics making an impact all the way over in the United States.
