A lovely new Heifer addition on the farm.

Sired by Cann Valley Universal (full brother to New Moon) and out of the beautiful Rotherwood Number One Girl.

We love when calves are born with plenty of length and stretch - this one ticks the box!

We have been ever so fortunate to recieve a decent drop of rain.

It feels a bit better to see a tinge of green, whilst it’s become a little cold for much growth and nutritional value, it is very pleasing to see our crop of Oats & Vetch has come up.

We hope all of those who have needed rain have received some.

We have a load of females heading to a new breeder tomorrow to form his new foundation herd in NSW along with a group of Australian Lowline Steers who will be fed and sold to a butcher specialising in Lowline Beef - this will lighten the load a little.

It’s very pleasing to see our genetics forming new herds.

I was fortunate enough to break in Augusta Fool for the Spencer Family. I thank them for trusting me with their animals.

We are so proud of Junior members Johanna & Jace and the entire Lamb family.

Cann Valley Lady Pepper was awarded Grand Champion Exhibit at Yeppoon Show at 18 months old.

She was presented and the exhibited by the Lamb family beautifully.

Thank you to the Lamb Family for your continued support in our breeding program with purchasing more cattle and continuing to show them to win Champion titles.

One of my most consistent producers - Rotherwood Radiant Girl.

She was Grand Champion Female at Sydney Royal 2021.

Every year she produces a lovely calf and they have also been champions. She has daughters up in QLD & NSW.

She is due in about 4 weeks and will have the first Cann Valley Sir Ulysses calf.

While alot of the animals in our Catalog are now sold. We still have a Radiant daughter available.

It’s extremely dry at home and has been for a while.

But it’s great to see how well the Australian Lowline Breed holds their condition in these tough and trying times.

Here is Cann Valley Nefertiti Girl who has calved a very nice bull calf sired by Cann Valley Universal.

Doing it all on whatever hay and straw we can get our hands on!
