This big guy is here for a visit at PPL, he has never boarded before. He was very nervous and a bit stand off-ish when he first got here. Once the big guy realised we weren't that bad, he started having a great time playing in the yard. 😊 We will always have time to make sure a nervous pupper settles and enjoys their stay 🥰🥰

It's been a crazy first week moving house settling into the kennels here at Porcupine Lane. Lots of learnings, finding better ways to keep our guests comfy and reduce stress with the current facilities. Short term and big 3-5 year plan being drawn up as we speak. Looking forward to sharing the journey with everyone.

It's been a busy few days settling into our new home. We are completely in love with this place. Lots of work to be done over the coming months.

G'day Tamworth,
We are Crista and Joe Doherty and from the 22nd September 2022 we will be the lucky owners of Porcupine Pet Lodge a 64 acre farm and pet boarding kennels.
We currently offer dog and cat boarding however once we get settled we will be including some other services (like dam swims and adventure walks)
Crista has over 20 years in the animal industry working in boarding kennels, vets and with Polo and race horses. She has a cert II in animal care and a Diploma of horse management.
Joe is an all round softy and all the animals adore him. He has a natural way with animals.
Together we have 3 super spoilt puppers.
We are focusing on low anxiety stays. All of our team have completed the 'Fear Free' dog and cat boarding coarse.
