TEVC are proud Silver sponsors of this years Australian Barrel Horse Association Finals where Dr Sam Morley has been busy mouthing (ageing) the ABHA futurity and maturity horses.

Our team has been on the ground most of this week providing onsite veterinary support, and Dr's Sam Morley & Brodie Argue were also invited to present on a couple of key equine veterinary topics at an evening event organised by the ABHA.

Our Story

Tamworth Equine Veterinary Centre provides surgical, medical, reproductive and referral services to the horse population of Tamworth district and to the North and North West region of New South Wales. The practice offers a full medical, diagnostic and surgical service to horse owners and trainers. With an operating theatre and full hospital facilities the Centre offers comprehensive services including surgery, radiography, ultrasonography, endoscopy and intensive care. We also provide a full ambulatory service to the district and regular visiting racetrack and stud services. The 30 acre complex is located within 2kms of the central business district of Tamworth, the regional centre for the Northern part of New South Wales, Australia. The Centre is located on lush alluvial country with full irrigation and is bordered by properties specializing in the provision of spelling (resting) of horses at pasture. The complex has a central barn which houses a state-of-the-art reproductive laboratory, operating theatre, radiography suite, hospital stalls and general medical infrastructure. Attached is the administration complex. Adjacent to the main barn is an undercover serving arena and crush complex. There are undercover day yards and the balance of the complex is divided into yards, Stallion yards with individual boxes and paddocks, all interconnected with broad laneways. Our reproduction division is a performance horse stallion station, we accept stallions from all over Australia for semen freezing, standing, export, domestic shipment of chilled semen, semen evaluation, and more.
