Looks like we have got ourselves a couple of clucky girls, they have been sitting on a bunch of eggs now for 7 days. They both are rotating and moving the eggs similar to chooks. They are also very annoyed (growing kind of noise) if we try to change the bottle brush cutting out to replace it for a fresh green one that they are sheltered with. We have decided to let them go to see what happens 🤞🏼🙏🏼🥰

Our quail eggs arrived safely in the post today at Quail HQ 2340.
Currently resting before going into the incubator tomorrow.
1st attempt hatching quail eggs in the incubator 🤞🏼and super eggsited!

Every time we have an issue with our flock, we don't always want to run to antibiotics for the solution. Especially, considering many of these require the withholding of eggs from consumption for a period of time. Antibiotics should always be a last option. There are a number of natural alternatives...
