Apologies to all of our followers!

We have been MIA, however with both of us now working full-time, two small people and a property of horses still, it doesn’t leave much time other than for sleep!

A little bit has been happening. We have reduced our racehorse numbers down to just those owned by us.

I am excited to share that my pretty little girl, Allegra is having her first start in race 1 on Sunday at Marburg! If you are around come down and cheers her on. ❤️

Macca is also racing on Sunday, hopefully we can get her back on track.

Handsome man Boomer steps out for the first time tonight in the last at Albion.

Having his maiden start, the 3yr old has been consistent in his trials, with improvements shown each time.

When you are lucky enough to finally fill a life long dream to have a painted pony to race!!
More to come, but I am just excited to have the opportunity to purchase this gorgeous filly. No race name yet, but we have dubbed her Allegra.

When the special child snatched his second win!! Makes all the early in hair pulling worth it. LouLou has matured so much this campaign, and loving seeing the reward for owner Warren Craven! Thanks for a great drive Adam Richardson! Lou has tested our commitment on numerous occasions, but I am pleased you have stuck by him.
Thanks Gary Whitaker for everything you do to support me with the horses since I returned to work. I know that Louis isn’t the easiest horse to get along with at home. 😘🤦🏼‍♀️

Today I was privileged to have my first ride on my homebred 4yr old Standie Snickers. He is having a good break from racing and as he will be travel companion for Reggie when he heads out and about, why not get him doing something undersaddle.
I have never seen him buck before and have lunged him quite a lot in his race training. 🤣
He is an absolute gem once I hoped on though. He has never done anything for me to worry about his behaviour or temperament. We are bonded, he has always been a mums boy. 💖 I will post a few videos shortly.

What a great opportunity to showcase our OTT horses in Qld. Get on to it!!

*NEW* QOTT LEADERBOARDS FOR STANDARDBREDS & THOROUGHBREDS

We are excited to announce that for 2024, the Queensland Off The Track (QOTT) Leaderboards will recognise and award both OTT Standardbred and Thoroughbred horses separately that have accumulated the highest points in each discipline at events from 1 November 2023 to 31 October 2024.

To be eligible, OTT horses must be Base or Life Registered with Equestrian Queensland (as per the EA National Rules of each discipline / level of competition).

Thanks to Queensland Off-The-Track and Racing Queensland, each champion will be awarded at the 2024 EQ Annual Awards on Saturday 23 November at Victoria Park.

⭐ QOTT Leaderboard Points ⭐

Points are allocated from 35 points for 1st place down to 1 point for 35th place.

All points for the QOTT Standardbred Leaderboards and the QOTT Thoroughbred Leaderboards for Jumping, Interschool, Vaulting and Driving will be generated from submitted results (self nominating) to ensure all eligible off-the-track horses are recognised.

Points are automatically calculated for QOTT Thoroughbred Leaderboards for Dressage, Eventing and Show Horse.

💻 Submitting Results 💻

To submit your results to be included in the QOTT Standardbred Leaderboards or the QOTT Thoroughbred Interschool, Driving and Vaulting Leaderboards, please complete the online results submission form within the correct time frame (see below).

⚠️ To be included in the QOTT Leaderboard publications -

⌚ All results from competitions from 1 November 2023 - 31 May 2024 need to be submitted by Friday 28 June 2024.

⌚ Results from competitions from 1 June 2024 - 31 August 2024 need to be submitted by Friday 27 September 2024.

🏆 To be eligible for the final standings, results MUST have been submitted and published on a QOTT Leaderboard update prior to the final and any last results from competitions from 1 September - 31 October MUST be submitted by 1 November 2024. Late submissions will not be accepted.

The ever so majestic Louis turned in a very impressive 2nd today at Albion Park! He dug deep, and look to fight back after settling relaxed in the run. So good to see him continuing to improve and mature for his owner/Breeder, Warren.

Rocket is at home, however space here is at a premium. He is currently lame at trot in his near front, due to what appears to be a muscle pull. He has been ridden and is lovely undersaddle, however needs someone prepared to give him the time to rehab. If you are interested, please send me a message. Thank you

Results from the weekend.

Elegant Grooves - 3rd. Wasn’t comfortable pacing so plenty of improvement to come.

Saint Louis Beat - 5th. Tough run in the death, but showed he has matured to fight on.

Mach Brilliance - 3rd. Lots of incidents in her heat of the Oakwood Capital Goldstrike. Checked at the start and then had 2 gallop in front of her. Very happy with her run considering.

Ponies:

Twist of Fate - 2nd and 1st! He was flying at Albion on Saturday night.

Chuck Norris - 2nd and 4th. A little naughty at the start, but very well driven by Lara.

We have 2 racing tonight at Albion. Miss Twinkle and in the 2nd stepping up in grade and Louis in the last. Gary is taking the drive on both.

The family favourite, or Princess Painful is racing at Redcliffe tonight with myself, Joedy, taking the reins.
I am looking forward to having my first drive on her under race conditions, and hope she is the professional I deem her to be!

Macca ran a good first up yesterday, being held up with no clear run at them.

Unfortunately, I have had to scratch Willie from tomorrow at Albion. A training incident on Friday and the poor old fella just need a little time to recover. He will be back though.

Twinkle will be racing on Wednesday night at Redcliffe in the last.

Noms being completed tomorrow for Friday.

Lara, Tex and I head off early on Friday morning bound for Menangle and the Midgets Mini Miracle Mile!

Sunday morning unofficials with the team. So proud seeing Lorelei having her first drive behind the mobile this morning on my old boy Willie. She drove him perfectly!
Little Macca and I ran away from Gaz and Snick. Lou didn’t have his gaiting strap on and knew it! Twinkle was a good girl.
Thanks for the trials MPA. Love having the ability to give the horses a hit out in a relaxed place.
