Yes that is correct Toy Story is back and Lea L Boyd collects 7 points towards the rising star series. It took longer than expected to get correct weight but it was all good in the end.
With was a 10/10 ride by Leanne. Not everything planned out but keeping a cool head Leanne knew what she had underneath her.
This has been a great come back from this horse to all the staff I want to thank you for everything you have done for him.

Strobing has finally returned to the track after a good relaxing time in the paddock. After everything not going to plan in the run stable apprentice Courtney Ferris did the correct thing and followed the favourite. This was a great ride just to be out gunned by the favourite.
We can’t wait to see Strobing back at the track soon.

The new horse in the stable Star Prediction looks like he could have a little future in country racing. Aaron Bullock jumped aboard in a provincial Super maiden at Port Macquarie and gave him a 10/10 ride and we got the owners a great return straight away.
This little horse has done a great job in his first race start. Can’t wait to see what we can do with him over the next few months.

This was a great run second up by Onepointsevengone and a great ride by stable apprentice Courtney Ferris. Also another great ride by stable apprentice Lea L Boyd to win the race.

On Wednesday we head to Canterbury Oark with Better Explain and young apprentice Siena Grima. This was Siena’s first city ride and the pair didn’t let us down.
This was a fantastic run and a 10/10 ride from Siena.

Yesterday at Taree New Stable Apprentice
Courtney Ferris and Buffett tried the pride of Jenni tactics and it created some exciting racing for everyone.
Turning for home 12 lengths in front and the crowd cheering the team only just got caught on the line.
Courtney did have a fall after the line and she is home resting up and doing well. This was her first ride for the stable and one she won’t forget anytime soon.

We have finally done it and won the Kempsey Cup. Plus to do it with a local girl Siena Grima
We couldn’t be more proud.
What can we say about the horse and the rider.
Xtra Approval gave us our first city winner. Has been sacked a hundred times nearly got sold and now live in his old box with the goats.
Siena came out laughing and joking about how this race would be run. It didn’t matter it was a 20/10 ride.
To Kempsey jockey club thank you for a great day it was an amazing crowd and a great Calcutta Thursday night.
To all my staff thank you for all your efforts a special one goes to Lea L Boyd. Thank you for the last two weeks you have been the backbone of the stable. I know we got this one wrong but we will make up for it don’t worry.

Siena Grima and Better explain show that the last start win together was not just a one off.
Last start Better explain went to Newcastle and did nothing but he must have known Siena was back in the saddle.
This was a great ride and just to be caught right on the line.
Can’t wait to see where better explain goes to next but we know Siena will be getting the call up first.

After a long week we can finally sit down and reflect on what we have done.
On Wednesday we headed to Grafton with 4 runners it was a tough day but the one of the old stable stars. Time for Victory stood up and ran a solid 🥉. This was a great return to form after a poor run last start.

After a long 732 days without a win. Matthew McGuren needs an Order Of Australia for getting Xtra Approval over the line at Port Macquarie on Sunday.
This old war horse has come back in great order after a 5 week break. Finish top 3 his last two starts and then getting to 1500m he jumped well and travelled super the whole trip.
To both riders Lea L Boyd and Kellie Jade thank you for all the hard work you have put in with Xtra Approval.

2024 Bakewell Haulage Krambach Cup winner
Better Explain with young apprentice Siena Grima aboard.
What can we say about this ride. 2nd last at the 600m a wall of horses in front and Siena comes wide and sets out after the leaders.
10/10 ride from a young lady coming through the riding ranks. This horse won so well at Muswellbrook two starts back and last start nothing went to plan with a fall in the race but today he showed us what he can really do and was in for the fight over the last 100m.
Congratulation also to his strapper Macy Carter
on strapping your first ever winner in only your second time doing it.
