I’ve been a bit M.i.A. This week hyperfocusing on expanding my handmade range ready for tomorrows INDOOR market at Club Old Bar.
These infinity scarves are just one new addition you’ll find at my stall and are super warm and snuggly -perfect for this current cold snap!

I won’t have treats & enrichment items with me tomorrow but can take orders to drop off Monday if you can’t wait until next weekend!

I’ll be at Old Bar Community Markets this weekend! I might even have a bunny or two for you to pat 😉
Set up will be different to accommodate tables and a safe penned area for bun(s)! I’m excited for this trial run! If it’s successful this will be a normal occurrence for Old Bar and Tallwoods Markets. Other markets pending approval of having animals with me.

Easing back in to things while I figure out what I can do that doesn’t cause flare ups. Quick and easy Nail Trim for this little Nethie boy yesterday! He’s always so well behaved for me, I’m in and out in 10 minutes!

Hi everyone! An overdue update.
I unfortunately had to take an extended break for both my mental and physical health. I’m working on the steps to be able to continue offering my services.

For the months of February & March I was concerned about continuing grooming as I’ve been showing signs of some form of arthritis effecting not just my hands but also my knees while driving. This is likely to be an ongoing issue, however, I have found some things that are helping these pain issues finally and I’m not ready to give up yet!

I will be spending a couple of hours tonight catching up on messages after my pizza work shift and lining up catch up appointments in Newcastle and Coffs Harbour for the next few weeks so if you have a day that works best please let me know before I start making the bookings. Old Bar and Taree area will get priority bookings also as they require less driving and strain on my body.

Thank you for your ongoing support!
I will be continuing with markets also with a focus on rabbit treats until I can work out what crafts don’t cause ongoing pain issues for me.

If you’re braving the weather for Wauchope show this weekend make sure to pop into the hall to check out the exhibits!

I’m hearing unconfirmed reports of RHVD2 deaths in the region.
Vaccination and indoor housing is the safest way to protect your rabbits! If you do house outdoors, mosquito netting is essential for their enclosure!

Just a few of the new earrings I have available and and Update!
I’ll be at Old Bar Community Markets this Sunday 28th Jan (tomorrow!)

I then will be extra slow to reply for approx 1 week but I will be taking appointments for:

Feb 6th in Newcastle
Feb13th in Coffs Harbour
Everyone within my 100km approx radius from Manning Point, afternoon appointments available Wednesdays, Thursdays or Sundays.

Appointments for only Nail Trims more than 50km away will need to be arranged on days I have another appointment near by to avoid me needing to raise costs due to fuel and ongoing car maintenance to keep me on the road.

If the temperature is expected to exceed 35°C on a booked day, I will need to reschedule either for later in the evening when it is cooler or another day for my health but I will include an extra treat for bunny on the rescheduled date if this occurs (any appointments waiting to reschedule will also receive the extra treat)

Thank you for your continued support. Summer has knocked me around more than I expected but we are trying to sort a plan that works for everyone to keep your buns healthy and well groomed.

This heat is horrendous! Make sure your animals are kept cool! I’m pushing through and will be in Queen Elizabeth Park for the Australia Day and Multicultural festival from 2-6ish.
I’ve enlisted some help from On The Ball Dog Training so if you’re interested in Christine’s services also, come down and have a chat with the both of us!

Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding as I navigate health struggles while running a business as a sole trader without local family to help. In a perfect world I would be able to shut down and focus on myself but unfortunately I am relying on this business to become sustainable so that I can fully leave the hospitality and brick-and-mortar store work. I am doing my best and hopefully will be more on track soon.
I am taking requests for appointment days in locations currently with only a few locked in dates. Let me know days that work for you and I will do my best to work with you around my health.

Sweet Jackson was such a good boy yesterday! When it was time for me to try take his photo he didn’t want to be on the table, he wanted to be on my lap for a cuddle 🥰

We’ll be at Light Up Old Bar on Saturday (3-8pm).
I have time next week for some last minute appointments before a break between Christmas and New Years.
New Years Day we’ll be at the Harrington Festival!
