So I am fostering this little girl, her story is awful! She was abandoned/dumped and was living under a house. She is approximately 3-4 months old trying to survive on her own. She was covered in fleas and ticks, full of intestinal worms, Demodex mange and scared to death. She also has some sort of infection in her neck glands along with conjunctivitis. We have named her Jewell. She will need more medical treatment for a bit so I am here again asking my animal lovers to help. If you can donate to help this baby please contact me! So I just wanted to give everyone a recent update on sweet Julius! He is seriously loving life and is a very happy boy with his adoptive family. He decided his human is a little girl. Lol.

Ok my lovely dog lovers! Yesterday I rescued this sweet boy after watching him get dumped on the side of the road. He is very skinny, covered in fleas and ticks and very scared but he is the sweetest boy, very calm and quiet. I will be getting him vetted this week. So of course I’m asking for help with that. We have named him Oakley. He looks to be lab/ hound mix. At this time he is about 15-20lbs underweight. He is very gentle on a leash and is great with other dogs. Oakley has already seen the neglect from humans so I made him a promise he will never have to live that life again! I’m estimating his vet cost including neuter around $300. My sweet boy has been adopted! He is leaving Thursday heading for Canada to be with his furever family! I’m so proud of him and so happy of what he has become in the few months I’ve spent with him. It will be a bittersweet goodbye. I will miss him so much!

Just wanted to update everyone! Julius is now neutered, microchipped and is currently on the slow kill HW treatment. He’s gained a ton of weight which he is now 110lbs of baby!

Since I don’t know Julius’s real birthday and the vet figures he was about 17-18 months old when we rescued him. Which means he was most likely born in August 2018. So I deem his birthday August 31st! That was my daddy’s birthday!

So I wanted to share a little story that happened with me and Julius last night on our walk. So in some areas we walk are a little on the dark side which makes me uncomfortable but he enjoys this way. I know he is pretty protective of me but watching him on our walk last night really showed just how much. As we were walking a man was out with his dog which I have been teaching Julius the “leave it” command and he’s been doing great! But last night he got unusually close to me at this point. I hadn’t ever seen this man in our neighborhood so he may have been visiting but he seemed a bit strange. He tried to approach me and I warned him that may not be a good idea but he I guess thought differently. That’s when Julius stood in front of me ( like guarding me) hair on his back stood up his head went down and all you could see is teeth and a growl. Needless to say the dude changed his mind very quickly. My heart was pounding. My boy scented something off about this guy and dared him to come any closer. ( yes I carry a weapon along with my 4 legged weapon). I couldn’t be prouder of this guy!

So as many of you know our sweet boy Julius is having aggression issues that are beyond my expertise of training. Although he is improving some he still has a very long way to go. I have spoken with an expert trainer on this issue and he is willing to come out and help me but his fee is $400. Julius has lived such a s**t life I made a promise to him that his life would never be so terrible again. But if he bites someone or someone’s dog his life will be over! So again I’m asking for help with his training fee! Please, please help me!
