What gloves do y’all wear out in this bitter cold weather in your barnyard/homestead? My fingertips were seriously freezing and numb this morning. My gloves are supposed to be for cold weather but I don’t think so!

Frankie, our rescue, guarding our property! Frankie is our hardest working girl. She sleeps a lot of the day because she protects the barnyard all night. She won’t let anything onto our property without a fight. It’s all natural instinct, we never trained her. She even guards all the eggs. The only thing she doesn’t stop is snakes. I think that’s because snakes are small and so quiet.

I really don’t make any. I simply aim to do and be better than last year. Come on 2025!!!

My sweet chicken, Luna, is dying. So I’m just holding her till she passes. I can’t make myself end it for her so I don’t want her to be alone. This part sucks.
