Thank you to Yeppoon Hack and Pony Club for a completely seamless event and for going to so much effort in our neck of the woods. It means the world and we are forever grateful for all of the time and effort you have all put in to make it happen!
Another weekend for just Sophia and I with the usual roller coaster of results.
Sophia and Scotty (Hartmor Lectros Proud Okie) did themselves proud 🥇and whilst she was eliminated on Snowflake (Hartmor Lectros Destiny) for missing a jump in the showjump round 🤪, it was another good exercise in the building of resilience. The silver lining was that all 3 rides showed improvement on the weekend before and would have given them a top 3 result had she not made the mistake. So grateful for the beautiful Yeppoon committee who allowed her to ride the xc regardless…super super kind and we can’t thank you enough. ###

Huge thank you to Mitch and Alex from Servin Helicopters for their help yesterday mustering and then for flying us to our cattle in the yards this am and then out of Ruined Castle after 150mm of rain overnight! (Creek bed in video is usually dry!) Loving the rain…not so much loving that we had to let the cattle out after a huge day getting them in! In the scheme of things though, life could be worse. It could be dry so probably a good problem to have…
