Ted doing what he loves best.
Chasing the lure.
We had a great weekend at the Winter Carnival with 2 passes. Half way to his next lure coursing title.
4 more to go. π
Many thanks to Penny Parker who takes images of our dogs and allows us to use them for free.
Ted practicing his scent detection at the local park. We have our first trial next week.
It's time for a puppy update.
My special blue bean Miss Jili has landed in the most fabulous of homes. She is living at an Eco-Resort in the rainforest.
Daily swims in the creek. Doggy siblings to rough house with. Human kids to play with.
There is lots of interesting activity for her to be involved in. And she has become the self appointed assistant tour guide, taking herself with her humans on the tours either on foot, or in the buggy.
I am so happy for this little girl, who will be a breed ambassador for both national and international tourists.
It makes my heart warm...

Australian Stumpy Tail Cattle Dogs
Nearly 3 weeks old and growing so fast!!
Ted. He is such a good natured derp.
He loves this wheel toy. He has been trying to destroy it for the last year, but it's survived all Ted's teethy attention.
Meggy moo playing with her favourite toy. She won this as a baby puppy and the only time it got damaged is when Ted stole it and tried to de squeaky it.
This afternoon Teddy boy did just under 10km while I rode the bike. He trots along quite comfortably at the required 10km/ hr.
Today's ride was a bit slow due to the human tipping off the bike in the gravel. The only injury to the human was pride. π€£
His Endurance Trial is next Saturday. π€π€
Stat's for this run in the comments for anyone interested
Ted and I have started training for a 20km Endurance Trial this week.
Ted is his usual cool calm collected self and trotted happily next the push-bike for our first ride/run. He looked at me as if I have lost my marbles, but went along with it.
Ted pulled up not even panting after our first hilly 3kms ride/run at 10km/ hr. I, on the other hand, felt as though I was gunna die and had to stop. So then we walked another 1km π
Watch this space for updates, Endurance Trial date is the 15th of July. I'm sure Ted will do much better than me. π€£
Ted attended SprintDog last night. He had a ball and ran his legs off.
Over 2 x 100 metre runs (the first one was a bit slow), Ted's Average speed was 43km/hr
Average time was 8.43 seconds.
Thanks to Craig for releasing the hound. π
Apologies for the rope burn on your hands from holding him at the start.
Meg successfully completing a Trick Dog test today.
It was so much fun. π
