Some of our older followers would know Rose whom we sold a few months ago.

I think as a horse owner we lose a bit of ourselves every time we pass on a good horse.

Well we have received an update from her new owner and she is doing amazing. She has a new name and is now known as Baylee!

They have been busy growing, learning and competing. It’s great to know this horse is not going to waste and is in a very loving home.

We never fail we either win or we learn….

Today was one of them days! Sadly we love Snorty more then anyone at the sale and he is back home waiting for his owner to work on plan B.

Snorty is now up for sale and will be sold privately. I will post his sale video and details in the coming days!

Some days are harder then others. We learnt a lot over the last week.

We already have 2 yearlings booked to present at next years sale in Toowoomba! So we will be back bigger and better next year!

Just want to thank our clients for trusting us with their horses. It means the world that our little business keeps running and growing.

Was great to be out and about today at the sale. Snorty did so well, was very well behaved and was hardly interested in the other horses.

Very big thank you to Edwards Saddleworld for putting on their event last night!

We attended a talk about Gut Health from Paul Austin and Kelato Animal Health.

Even though we don’t “Show” Horses, we learnt a lot about what is necessary in the industry, for when we are training or prepping a “Show” horse.

We also got some great tips about feed and how important gut health is in horses.

We were also very lucky to win a lucky door prize 🥰

Differently found some new and improved products to use on our horses and horses in training 😊

Always take the opportunity to learn, we may not agree or necessarily need the information but it always comes in handy in the future 😉

Just not enough hours in the day….

Sorry guys we have a full house at the moment and are in full swing with sale preparations for the end of the month.

We welcomed Reggie to the farm over the long weekend. He is a massive big TB gelding and has come for a tune up and all round training for his owner.

Our 2 breakers will have their first rides this week and their owner is very happy with their progress and she is looking forward to picking up the mares at the end of the month.

We now have limited spots for May/June/July so if your thinking about booking in please send us a message or give Clint a call.

Hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable long weekend, we managed to get some quality time in with some family which was nice.

Yesterday we welcomed “Gary” to the farm for the next little while.

Gary will be put through our program to learn manners and respect on the ground and ridden.

Gary will be brought back into work so he is safe and sound for his owner.

Gary is from the track but is now retired. Gary’s new owner will be enjoying trail riding once he returns home.

Clint has done a lot of extra work with this mare to ensure she is sound on the ground with understanding and respect for him.

She has the most loving nature and she wants to please, this has been nurtured and the results are amazing.

We welcomed 2 new mares to the farm on Friday. They will be with us for the next 6-8 weeks for breaking.

Clint has been working on building their trust and starting the process.

Little Miss Rosie has been with us for some eduction around her handling and putting her bridle on.

Her little people love her dearly but she won’t let them tack up which has become a major safety issue for the family.

After a few weeks she is doing well and the family will now come for lessons to learn all the new ways before Rosie rejoins the family.

After doing some training Rosie enjoyed getting pampered with a full wash with Just Magick products, we have found them to be amazing and it’s now all we use. Check them out they are natural products.

Few days ago Clint took Snorty (Peps Smarty Destiny) out on an adventure to a local trail close to home.

Snorty did so well for his first long trail ride exploring the local hills of Linthorpe Q.

Snorty will be for sale at the 2023 Nutrien Supreme Sale & Campdraft.

We will also be holding a stall to meet the region and answer any questions.

We had the pleasure of a client visiting to ride with Clint on Friday.

Hillary has been riding for many years and loves the way Clint works with her horses. On Friday they worked on Cooler becoming softer and rolling up in her bridle and how to refine leg aid for a better reaction from cooler.

Hillary went home with a few exercises and we have had reports that progress has been made and the difference in both rider and horse was amazing.

It’s great to receive feedback from clients and let’s us know we are on the right track with our horses.

P.S. the Pretty black c**t is Snorty! He is in presale mode getting ready for sale in April 23. Clint broke in Snorty a few months ago, and training is well under way.

Just wanted to pop in and say a big welcome to all the new people who have joined us on this journey!

Clint has been busy working on Snorty’s sale preparation only few short weeks the Nutrient sale will be here! We have a few new horses at the stables for education and they are coming along nicely.

I have just spent a few days in Rocky with work and must admit it was nice to be home with the horse last night!
