✔️ Are you viewing challenges as opportunities or obstacles?
✔️ How do you react to feedback?
✔️ Are you focusing on growth and learning?

2 dogs completely exhausted from 4 days of play. First time ever being able to pat Matilda without Banjo pushing in.
Tilly looks pretty happy and chill.

Moira and I were invited to Nabiac N.S.W. to learn about Paws for Change. Also to promote Let's Talk Dog. There is an Air BNB on the property and horses and dogs with puppies. We are also training dogs and Behaviour testing the puppies for the owners, prior to adoption. Life is good. We are in heaven.
Banjo and Matilda were also invited. They love it so much.
What a fantastic experience for them.

It was a little cold in the park today. Felt like 5 with the winds. That didn't stop us from having fun.
I know I've been quiet on here, but I needed some 'me' time.

9.5 degrees. Beautiful afternoon for a walk with my 2.

Took 2 dogs into the park today.
When I went to leave, I didn't realise Matilda had wandered off with her new friend. 😆 A Border Collie puppy.🐶
Oh my goodness 🤦♀️ How embarrassing. The puppy owner was amused.😅

What a great feeling it is to see your pet succeed in overcoming there fears. Today I had my final lesson with Hugo. 😪
This little man has achieved so much in a small amount of time. I am so proud of Hugo and his family. This just goes to prove the 3 Ps of training your pup is true. Patience, Perseverance and Praise.
I'm sure we will catch up for playdates in the park.
If you need my help, I now have some free time.
Just send me a message.

I've been working consistently with Archie for almost 10 months. He has such a strong personality.
After a few little set backs, I have been using some Energy Therapies with him and he is responding really well.
Love this 'Dude'.

Working with children, teaching them how to train their pets is one of my favourite parts of my business. To see a parent and child invested in giving their pet their best possible start in life, and putting in the time and effort is so rewarding.
Last week I met with Allie the Kelpie, and her family. ( What a beautiful girl, Allie is)
Allie has the basics, but is easily excitable and distracted.Today we started training. We worked mainly with stting nicely (without the jumping) and getting her to focus. While also getting her used to having her collar touched and attaching a leash.
I left the family with homework, and am confident this beautiful dog will get her homework done before next week.
Following up and working with your puppy everyday is very important.
Allie and her family will do well.

If you're aiming to boost your team’s productivity, consider the strengths of each temperament. For example, cholerics can lead, sanguines can energise, melancholics can strategise, and phlegmatics can stabilise.
Leveraging these diverse temperaments can lead to outstanding team dynamics and results.

Today is International Day of Families and we’re shining a light on the invaluable role Assistance Dogs play in strengthening family bonds.
Assistance Dogs are such important family members, offering unconditional love, support, and companionship not just to their teammates, but to the whole family. They're not just pets; they're pillars of strength, resilience builders, and sources of endless joy.
They enhance inclusion and independence for people with disabilities, as well as teaching all of us about patience, empathy, and unwavering loyalty.
Our trainee Assistance Dogs are much-loved members of the volunteer Puppy Educator families that raise them for the first year or so of their lives. Volunteers often tell us how their puppy brings the whole family together to help ensure their future life-changer gets the very best start.
To find out more about becoming a puppy volunteer, please call 1800 688 364.
Today and every day, let’s take a moment to appreciate our Assistance Dogs and their vital role in making families even stronger.

What is the best part of being a Dog Trainer/ Animal Energy Therapist?
When you see results.
When you see a dog and owner happy together.
When a dog can go out and have fun, and explore with others.
It makes it all so worth it. 💜💚

I couldn't agree more with this.
Having a reactive dog, teaches us to check in with our own emotions. If you feel anxious so will your dog. Remember your dog feeds of your emotions.
1. Take a few deep breathes, check in with yourself. How am I feeling.?
2. Keep your voice low and calm. A high pitch excited voice, will excite your dog.
3. Slowly does it. Never rush.
4. It's O.K. to admit, I'm not up to this today. Never set your dog up to fail.
These Friendly Dog Collars are a great way of letting others know about your dog. I highly recommend them.
Banjo loves his. ❤️
Friendly reminder 💚
"Having a reactive dog teaches you to slow down and appreciate the small victories."

A little trivia for the kids, this Sunday.
Fun Animal Facts for the kids!
1. Sharks are only able to move forward, and they can die if they swim backward.
2. Unicorn is the official national animal of Scotland. It is really a fun fact about animals for kids.
3. Saltwater crocodiles have the most powerful bite in the world.
4. A single ant can carry 50 times its own body weight.
5. Horses are capable of seeing nearly 360 degrees at one time.
6. One species of jellyfish is immortal. Its name is Turritopsis dohrnii.
7. Pandas are solitary creatures and enjoy their own company. They love to be alone.
8. Platypus is the only animal that has no stomach.
9. Male bees are unable to feed without assistance from female bees.
10. Scientists believe that penguins have evolved from flying birds.
Major breakthrough today with Hugo. After 4 hours of lessons, Hugo went from being reactive to dogs, to joining in with complete strangers.
Desensitising, recall and long leash training, together with Energy and crystal work, has brought him to having fun in the park today. What a blessing to see a dog go from scared to having fun with others.💜

Fun at the Netball.
Soraya was a great mascot. I think we should turn the dress, she is wearing, into a skirt and top.

Team Mascot for Helena's / then Katrinas games.

Just my girl 'grounding' while in the park. Under our favourite tree.

This was a nice change in the park today.

Week 3 - with Hugo.
Getting closer to walking beside Adi. Such a huge improvement.
Hugo actually even got up close enough to 'sniff' Adi today. So proud of him and his owner. 👏🏼
Patience and repetition, are always necessary.
You cannot rush a reactive dog. Remember this dog has been traumatised.
I will follow up with a communication now and an energy healing, before our next appointment.

My Grand Puppy, Simi played a little too hard yesterday. Today she is sore from Arthritis.
So her Mum asked me to run frequencies for her.
It's that easy, a quick phone call and done.

A client gave Banjo and Tilly a new toy. They love anything that bounces. Banjo especially loves anything that squeaks and bounces.
Sound up.
An important message. 💜💙💚
This 'Butcher Bird' came to say Thankyou for the fresh water in the bird bath. I also moved it into the shade.💦
Please remember to leave water out on these hot 💥 days ahead.💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦

Cutest puppy ever. Love Yoda.
Just had to share this flashback to the day we got him. He's still cute.
Had a fun photo shoot this afternoon with Katrina and the kids.
I've always had an affinity with dogs. It probably comes from having grown up with an array of strays. But, my favourites have always been Border Collies. They are smart, gentle, loyal and very family-oriented: and this describes my own Border Collie-x, Banjo, to a tee.
Banjo and I sort of chose each other. I rescued him and in return, he helped me discover my passion for dog training. For this reason, and a few other, I was lead to complete my Certificate in Dog Training and Obedience.
Banjo was the first dog I tested my qualifications on. I taught him everything from the basics of sit and stay, to the more advanced agility style commands. But, it wasn't until I saw how Banjo responded to my Autistic grandson that I knew he was truly special. He just instinctively knew how to calm my grandson. This peeked my interested because I could see how beneficial the human/animal interaction was. So now, I am taking my studies further and working towards a certificate in dog Cognitive Studies
Now, Banjo and I want to share these benefits with all of you.
