Safely home from 12th GSP National Specialty Show, 12th GSP National RATG, 12th GSP National Obedience Trial

A fantastic event that celebrated everything GSP. The girls did well with Honey taking 3rd in her age class and Lilah placing in RATG and OB. Making Noble Kennels one of only two kennels to place in all three events. Not only doing what the breed was meant to do but looking great while doing it.

A great weekend at the Mid-North Coast KC. Thank you to the judges for making the day extra special with Honey taking Junior in Group at the same show she took Baby Puppy in Group 9 months ago. 16pts for the day and RUBOB x1

The ACT Gundog Society is very proud of our member Lara Sedgmen and her Hungarian Vizsla “Dublin” at being the ACT’s first Agility Games Champion!

TRI CH (AG & AG GAMES) GRAEBROOK DUBLIN ROGUE UG RA QND ORA ADM ADO JDM JDO GDM SDM SPDM TK.N

And this is what Lara & Dubs did to get those titles:

Champion (Conformation) – 100 points – 6 or more points per show
Agility Champion: after gaining AD, ADX, ADM & JD, JDX, JDM titles – 5+6+7 qualifying runs per each, to then gain 500 points in ADM and 500 points in JDM. A run in either class gains 10-25 points per run, depending on a place.
And the ADO and JDO titles are separate, each needs 6 qualifying runs.
Games Champion: after gaining SPD, SPDX, SPDM, GD, GDX, GDM, SD, SDX, SDM titles – 3+4+10 (now 5) qualifying runs per each, to then gain 10 qualifying runs in each of SPDM and GDM and SDM.
UG: Utility Gundog (Ability Tests for Utility Gundogs) a test of 5 classes held over 2 days
RA: Rally Advanced: after gaining RN (3 qualifying scores in Novice) to then gain 3 qualifying scores in Advanced
QND: Qualifying Novice Dog (Retrieving Trials) completed 5 Novice Stakes
ORA: Open Retrieving Ability (Retrieving Ability Tests for Gundogs) gained the NRA title, then 3 passes at Open level
TK.N: Trick Dog Novice (Trick Dog Tests) after gaining TK.S title (3 quals), then gaining 5 qualifying certificates at Novice level

Lara & Dubs are about to travel the Nullarbor to Perth, to compete in the Agility Nationals! Go the Gundogs!

Honey stepped out in style this weekend. With a Best Minor in Group on Sat and BOB on Sunday. still count if your the only one?

What I was more impressed with was her OB training. Slipped the lead not once but twice and both time sat on command and did not move.

Excited to be developing Utility Gun dogs.
